Continuation of Peter's story

Peter ignored everyone's eyes and whispers, which he could still hear despite of his headphones.

He focused on his music and made his way to his locker. He opened his locker and was taking the necessary books when there was a sudden tingling sensation which told him something was coming his way .

Just as Peter turned back to look, he was tackled in a bone crushing hug by his very anxious best friend.

" Dude are you alright? Aunt May said you were sick. How are you feeling? Do you feel okay now? Tell me Pete. Also where are your glasses dude? " Ned asked Peter in one breath. "C-can't b-breath Ned. " Came out Peter's muffled  voice and Ned pulled away.

"He will if you shut your mouth loser". MJ quipped from behind Ned. Ned gave them both a sheepish smile and turned to Peter expecting answers to his numerous questions. Peter looked at his best friend and the brunette girl who was staring deep into his soul, her face blank.

"I'm fine guys, really. It was nothing just simple flu. " Peter explained. He was starting to get scared by the looks his best friend was giving him and the worry radiating from the bigger boy's body concerning Peter. Ned looked like an overprotective mother who wants to wrap her child in a bubble wrap and hide him in a safe.

Ned was about to tackle Peter into yet another bone crushing hug but stopped when he felt MJ's terrifying glare on him. " Whatever losers, let's get going." With that she turned around and started walking ahead of the two boys.

Peter's day so far was for once a little less eventful. He didn't see Flash and his friends and his class went as usual, boring. Peter thought that the rest of his day would be the same, peaceful. Well, he couldn't be more wrong.

Sitting in the back of the class Peter was struggling to keep his eyes open and pay attention. The monotone of Mr. Harrington didn't help either. When the shrill noise of the bell reached Peter's ear, he hissed quietly. The noise affected him more than it usually does. Taking a moment to gather himself together, he shoved his books and binder into his bag and made his way to the cafeteria.

Peter was starving. He felt like he hasn't eaten for ages which was obviously not true. Usually he never felt hungry when it was time for lunch, so he spent his lunch time in library eating grilled cheese and reading books that not even his teachers were able to understand. This was his away time from Flash and his obnoxious friends but not today.

Peter was already dreading the idea of going to cafeteria but here he was, in the line with a tray in his hands. He regretted eating cafeteria food even more when he saw the pasta and fries on his plate that looked awful. He sighed and sat on a table at the corner waiting for Ned and MJ.

He sat at the table and kept the tray on the table along with his hands.
His hands were still on the tray even though he wasn't holding the tray. It was as if his hands were glued to the tray. He tried to get his hands off the tray but it was of no use, the stubborn tray was still stuck to his hands.

Peter was starting to panic now. His mind screaming only one name. Flash. He thought this was yet another prank by the high school bully so he turned around in direction of the table where Flash and his friends sat expecting them to laughing at him. But that  wasn't the case. Surely the bully and his friends were laughing at Peter but not because of the stubborn tray that was stuck to his hands they were laughing at Flash's yet another joke about how 'poor and worthless puny Parker is' ( even Peter's crush who was looking somewhat sympathetic but stifled her giggles nonetheless.)

Peter felt relieved when he found out it wasn't Flash. How he knew that you may ask? The answer to this question is quite simple, every sound in the whole cafeteria ( including the chewing of food) was perfectly audible to the young boy, which was getting annoying and concerning at the same time. He didn't want to listen on the whispered conversations of his classmates and other students. It was as if he was eavesdropping, which was certainly not the case and was a story for some other time.

Peter tried to focus on the situation at hand. Well more like the tray stuck to his hand. He tried to shake the tray off his hand but the tray was a little too stubborn to leave the young boy alone yet . It was funny seeing a teenager trying to unstick his hands from a tray full of food.

Even after a lot of shaking and wiggling of his hand the tray remained at its place but we cannot say the same thing about the food that was once in that tray. Peter was so busy getting rid of the stubborn tray that he did not seem to notice the sudden stillness and silence  in the usually loud cafeteria. That was until he heard a loud girly shriek. He looked away from his beloved tray and looked in the direction of the shriek with furrowed eyebrows, only to see our infamous bully, Eugene 'Flash' Thompson who had ketchup dripping from his face, the tasteless pasta on his head and the fries inside his shirt, aka Peter's food.

It was safe to say that Peter now resembled a deer caught in headlights. He was horrified. He didn't understand whether to laugh at his long time tormentor or be afraid of the after effects. The tray decided that it had had enough fun messing with curly haired teenager and dropped to the floor with a loud clung which echoed through the loud cafeteria and sat innocently on the tiled floor.

Peter glared at tray which was now free from his hands and was in front of his shoes( he looked like an angry puppy ) when he heard a loud laugh booming in cafeteria and others took it as a cue to come out of their shocked state and join in the laughter.
Peter turned his glare from the tray to his best friend who was laughing like a dying hyena. Peter could feel the anger radiating from Flash. Whole cafeteria was filled with laughter which was, for a change, not directed towards him or his best friend but towards their daily tormentor. Amongst the laughter we could see a seething bully, the bully's friends who tried and failed in stifling their laughter and Liz Toomes aka Peter's crush, helping the bully while glaring at Peter who looked a little bit affected by the glare but it was nothing compared to the well practiced glare of MJ which was currently directed towards the other girl who quickly looked away from Peter. He shot MJ a grateful smile and hurriedly left the cafeteria, still shocked at what happened.

Present time

When Peter stopped telling the story to the avengers, Clint was rolling on the floor laughing with Sam and Bucky wheezing, Tony and Stephen looked like proud parents and Natasha and Steve silently sitting, thinking about the young boy's bully.

Steve shot them a look and soon the laughter died down and he looked at Peter with his famous eyebrows of disappointment, Peter squirmed under his gaze and was about to say something but Steve beat him to it " Why didn't you tell us you are being bullied Peter? I don't like (wike ;) ) bullies".  Hearing this the others immediately shot looks of concern to the boy but before anyone could say anything about the bullying Peter interrupted them " Guys it's okay, it's not a big deal, I got this and no, I'm not going to tell anything about him and no killing, maiming or threatening teenagers and yes I will inform you guys when it gets bad." Which was a lie. Everyone was about to protest but they were interrupted by Friday who informed them that their pizza was delivered. Peter sighed in relief and joined the others at the dinner table.

After dinner was over they decided to watch movies for the rest of the night and after a lot more discussion ( more like exchange of colorful words that nearly gave Steve a heart attack) they agreed to have a Harry Potter marathon obviously decided by Peter and those who didn't want to watch the Harry Potter movies or were about argue with Peter were shot a deadly look from an overprotective Irondad and Mama spider which was followed by a smug smile from Peter.

The superfamily peacefully watched the movie, well as peacefully they can when Sam and Bucky argued most of the time and talked in not so good vocabulary which resulted into, Steve simultaneously and aggressively saying language until he smacked the two bickering superheroes.
