Chapter 13. The Truth behind the Secret (PART 1)

In a day full of Joy, win and Bright spend the day being together. Win spend most of his time with bright since he know that when the time comes Bright needs to focus on his self, to his group and specially to his Gang. Win doesn't want to distract Bright in the Future. Although he will keep an eye to him.

After win told Bright about the Items that the MAFIA lord are using, Bright was bother with one of the items. The Ring of Win's mother. The item is so familiar to him but he just couldn't remember where he saw it. Seeing Bright's face makes Win confuse.

"Bright, is there any problem?" win ask worriedly. Bright shakes his head

"No, there's no problem." Bright said and smile at win and put his Right hand to Win and Hugged him. He then kiss win's forehead. " Don't worry about me Win. Everything is fine" and win Nodded.

"Okay. Shall we go to the lake?" Win ask Bright and he happily Nodded. They walk into the woods until they reach the said lake. The scenery is so beautiful and this is unbelievable for Bright. Thinking of this scenery inside a haven is impossible, it's like a scenery in fantasies that you never thought exist in this real world.

"Win you know this place holds a beauty that you can't never compare to the outside world."

"I know, this place always surprises me everytime I visit here".

Seeing win's smile makes bright feel more contented and He feels No, He wants to protect those smile whatever the cost is.

"Seeing you smile like this symbolizes how much you loved this place" Bright said and Win Nodded.

"Bright let's go to my Secret hideout"

"Secret hide out? Wait Win, How many secret hide out you have?"

"Well..uhmmm.. I dont know Bright, I don't count them. In mafia World, we are thought to make a secret hideout for emergency and Usually we learn it when we are young. Making hide outs become one of my habits" Win said as he giggles. "Let's go" Win then hold bright's hand and lead the way. They are going somewhere where it is covered with a lot of trees.

"Win, is it safe here?" Bright ask and win chuckle

"Of course Bright, this is MY area. Don't worry."

Then bright follow win until they reach an area full of vines, win then enter and so that Bright. When Bright enter it was dim at first until he saw a light and follow it. The light blinds him for seconds. The light was actually the sunlight and Bright again was amazed because of what he see. It was a big tree.

"Welcome Bright to my secret Place. Let's climb the Tree and you will see my most favorite part in this place"

They climb the tree. It was a very tall tree but climbing it was not scary because win already installed a staircase on it. Reaching the top, a house was on its center top. Win smilingly uncover the place and invite bright inside. The place was cozy and in vintage style.

"This place was my place everytime I want to be alone, this was build for me by my parents and this holds memories of them". Win said smiling without any sadness in his tone only happiness can be heard in his voice.

"Win, Can I ask something?" Bright ask and win nod. " Everytime you go to this place aren't you sad because this place reminds you of them ?"

Win smile and look at the outside

" In this world, We must keep moving on Bright. We need to face the reality and keep moving for our future. My parents always says that taking paths is our own decision. Besides my parents always remind me before they left me in this world that I should be happy for them. They told me that when I'm sad I'll just need to remember the happy memories that I have". Win said and Bright back hugged him.

"Win, I want you to know that I'll always be without you whether in good times or bad times"

"I know Bright and Thank you for all the love that you gave me. I promise you that I'll protect you no matter what"

Win and Bright stay there like that, They enjoy the beautiful scenery until sunset...

"Sunsets are the proof that not all endings aren't bad, sometimes it's beautiful.." win said. "I think we should go back or else aunt samantha will be worried" win added and bright nodded. They walk while holding hands and enjoying the sunset turning into darkness and stars are appearing.

"Win! I think I remember where I saw that!"

"What did you saw?"

Instead of answering Win, Bright guide Win to their room. Bright immediately go towards his bag. And win was confuse of Bright's action but he decided to keep quiet and wait for bright's answer.

"I found it!". Bright gets the Diary of his mother and a picture was on it. He handed it to win. Win confusingly accepted the picture

"It's your mother Bright" Win said looking at the Beautiful lady in the picture and look at Bright.

"Observe it win" Win observe the Picture and..

"Your Eyes and smile are similar Bright"

"Yeah but look at this" Bright pointed the Picture. Win then look at where bright is pointing. He is pointing to hand of his mother which wearing a Ring, a white Ring with Wings. Win was shocked by the Picture and look at Bright.

"When you introduce those MAFIA items to me, one catches my attention but I'm not sure where I saw it then I remember that it's the Picture of my mother"

"Bright may I ask when this picture was captured?"

"When I was a little kid probably 1 year old because I could remember it"

"That's... probably 2 decades from now which means...*gasp* My mother was alive on that time" Win said as he connects the points and the sentences that Samantha has said to him every time Bright is training "I think we should call Samantha, I know she know something" Win added and Bright Nodded.
