Chapter 19: Coup de Main

"AGENT K, enter."

I said testing the earpiece I'm wearing.

'Fléusch, on the go.' I heard Fleu from the earpiece and so Vleijk.

We're in Russia, on a mission. Gusto ko ngang murahin ang agency dahil nasa kalagitnaan pa ako ng Paris Summer Vacation ko, nasira naman agad. Ngayon lang nangyari to.

I heard a tiny groan from behind, and a man fell down to the floor. Nilingon ko iyon at may dalawa pa nga itong kasama na nakatutok na ang baril sa akin. 'Move fast, K. Time is running,' Vleijk commanded grumpily.

"I know," I said in a british accent, trip ko lang.

May isa pang pinto sa harap ko kaya binuksan ko iyon. Parang may tumunog na alarm kaya halos mapatalon ako sa gulat at kaba pero patuloy parin ako sa pagpasok. Later on, nagsulputan ang mga laser beams sa paligid at halos matapilok pa ako nang mahagip nito ang heels ng shoes ko at maputol iyon.

"This ain't a joke, dear." I said smirking.

Chanel pa naman tong shoes ko. Akala ko pa-lights lang tong laser beams, nakakahiwa din pala ng mga bagay-bagay. It was like a spider webs variously crossing the whole room. I'm feeling now the heating temperature of the lasers. Pa'no ako makakalusot dito?

"Kingina, walang iwanan friends," I said warningly to my companions, "Hoy magsalita kayo, paano to?" I said half way nervous.

'You can do it Agent K,' Vleijk said shortly.

'Go Chas! Hohoooo!' Pangchi-cheer sa akin ni Fleu.
