"I'M SOOO FULL" I said to Mark as we drove back home from the restaurant.

"me too, I'm stuffed." he said, as we were almost at the apartment building. By the time we finished all our errands it was already dark out.

As we pulled up in the parking lost he turned to me and asked, "uhh, can i come to your place?"

I turned to face him. "huh? Why?" I asked, shocked at the sudden question.

"uhh.." he said, his hand behind his neck. "just to like, hang out or something.. I know Johnny or Jaehyun probably has a girl over and.. yeah."

"um, okay, yeah sure. But I do have an assignment to do so I won't be very entertaining.."

"it's cool."

"okay." I said, about to get out of the car before I thought of something. "you wanna go to the convenience store and get some snacks?"

He smiled. "yup. Let's go." he said, starting the car back up and pulling out.

——

"we should get these. And these. Oh my gosh they have these? I love these we should get them too!" I said, running around the store and grabbing snacks.

Mark laughed and I suddenly turned around.

"what?"

"nothing. You're just cute."

I blushed. "I'm not cute."

"yeah, you are."

"nope. Not me."

"yeah, you."

"I'm not, don't call me cute." I said, turning around to hide my smile.

He suddenly got in front of me and pushed me against the wall, me gasping and dropping the snacks in surprise, my breath hitching in my throat.

"nah, pretty cute to me." he said, way too close to me.

I gulped and looked around, making sure Noone could see us. "Markkk~" I whined.

"see? That's so cute."

I rolled my eyes and tried to push him off of me, trying to hide my smile. "leave me alone. Get off." I said, turning my face so that he couldn't the slight red on my cheeks.

He smiled and leaned away from the wall. I rolled my eyes and bent down to pick up the snacks. "look, you even made me drop the snacks" I said, standing up and pouting with them in my hands.

He laughed out loud. "see, cute!"

I rolled my eyes and turned around, storming off to the cashier with a smile on my face.

I pulled out my wallet to pay when Mark suddenly came rushing with a few more snacks and grabbed it out of my hand.

"dude! Lemme pay!" I said, throwing my hands up in frustration.

"ha. No." he said, smiling at the old lady over the counter and giving her money.

I jumped on my tiptoes and reached upwards as he held my wallet over my hands. "Markkk~ you're such a bully! Just let me payyy"

He laughed at me as the lady smiled and put our stuff in a bag. "you two are such a cute couple."

At that I chocked on air and suddenly lost my balance, about to trip and fall when Mark caught me in his arms. My eyes widened and I stood up straight to look at the lady. "oh no, we're not—"I was about to clarify when Mark interrupted.

"thank you, it's our 1 year anniversary today" he said, and my jaw dropped.

"oh wow, congratulations" she said, and I tried to speak but Mark took the bags and dragged me out of the store. "thank you!" he said.

Once we were outside I wriggled out of his grasp and looked at him incredulously. "Mark! What the fuck was that about?" I asked, whisper-yelling.

He shrugged. "you know, manifesting."

I rolled my eyes as I had a small smile on my face. "I can't believe you, honestly." I said, walking back to the car.

He smiled as well. "it's not big deal, we'll probably never see her again anyways, what's the harm." he said, opening my door for me again before going around the other side of the car to get into the driver's seat.

"we literally live a block away from her, she's probably gonna remember that every time I go in there to buy something. Also noone said we'd date." I said, buckling my seatbelt.

"that's true. But now it's out in the universe, so it's bound to happen." he said, starting the car.

I sighed deeply and rolled my eyes, not saying anything as we drove to the apartments.

We entered my apartment a few moments later, having had stopped stopped at Mark's place (he was right about Johnny having a girl over) where he changed out of his jeans and into Grey sweatpants and an orange hoodie.

"yo, what assignment do you have?"

"um, it's a bio research project, I'm almost done though, so it won't take long."

"okay" he said, setting down the snacks and flopping down on the couch while I went to my room and changed into sweatshorts and an oversized t-shirt.

"you know, I just realized you're the first person who's ever opened a car door for me." I said, closing the door to ym room and opening my laptop.

"really?" he said, sounding surprised.

"yeah. Haha. It was kinda weird, but cute I guess." I said, finishing up my project while he munched on chips.

"oh my God. Like, actually never?"

"haha yeah, actually never."

"that's crazy." he said, standing up and looking around the apartment, picking up a sketchbook that was in the box next to the couch and flipping through it.

I finished the assignment and submitted it a few minutes later, closing my laptop and going to sit on the couch as well.

"is this your sketchbook?" he said, sounding concerned.

My eyes widened and I quickly closed it. "you can't just look though me sketchbook oh my gosh, it's personal stuff in here." I said.

"oh. sorry, I didn't know." he said, looking at me awkwardly.

"it's cool. Just, please ask next time? My whole life is in my sketchbooks it's kinda, personal." I said.

"got it." he said, pausing then speaking again after a while. "I saw some pretty dark stuff in there, are you sure you're okay?" he said, searching my eyes with concern.

I cleared my throat and looked away. "uh, yeah, yeah I'm good this is an old one, it's from like, a year ago." I said, gesturing to the book in my hands, before putting it in the box and getting my most recent one from my bedroom, giving it to him without hesitation. "this is my most recent one, I haven't really had time to draw as much but, yeah." I said, standing up to get drinks from the fridge while he opened it and flipped through it.

"what do you wanna drink?" I said, looking at him.

"anything's good." he said, looking at the pages intensely.

"uhh, ok" I said, pulling out a coke for him and water for me.

I set them down infrotn of him and sat next to him, watching him flip through the pages.

He flipped to a certain page and my eyes widened, me closing the book and grabbing it out of his hands, holding it close to my chest and hoping he hadn't seen too much. Shit, I completely forgot I drew that, fuck. I thought, realising the picture he probably saw.
