Chapter 1: First Time Meeting Each Other

Hamaya's POV:

I was called to the lab at 7 o'clock at night because the Indominus eggs were getting ready to hatch. They wanted me to be there like I was with Amethyst and Victera, my two velociraptors. When the male started to crack the shell of his egg open his twin sister started to open up her egg as well, but what caught everyone except for me off guard is that he ate his sister. "Did that thing seriously just eat its own sibling?!?!" one of the lab workers screamed, hurting mine and the Indominus's ears. "Yes, he just did. And OUCH SENSITIVE HEARING!!!" I yelled in response just as the Indominus jumped into my arms. "Well, it seems to already like you, you can take care of it." Delilah, my mother, creator, and boss said. "I might as well name HIM." I said putting the emphasis on him so they would stop calling him an it. "I think we should call him Snowdrift." I said smiling at the dino that was snuggling into my chest. I could tell that Snowdrift was starting to fall asleep so I put him back down only for him to jump off the table and clumsily try to follow me to my room. "Well, looks like I have to take you with me back to my room." I said picking him back up. Claire then came over to me with a worried look in her eyes. "Why are you taking that thing with you?!?" she asked obviously worried that he would kill me in my sleep. "Don't worry about me Claire, I'll be fine." I said putting my full trust in Snowdrift. "She has the right mind to worry about that thing, it could easily kill you when it gets bigger." Damian, my younger brother said. " Well, he wouldn't even think of hurting me at this size. I'll be fine." I said trying to reassure my 18-year-old brother. "Besides Amethyst and Victera will be there to protect me if he does try to hurt me." I said as my raptors and I started walking to my room, Snowdrift in my arms.

When we got in my room I quickly changed into my pajamas and got into bed, but I heard Snowdrift crying trying to get up on the bed, so I picked him up and put him on my bed with me. Eventually, we fell asleep with me in between Amethyst and Victera, and Snowdrift on top of my stomach. We slept like that until dawn.
