Chapter 6: The First Death

Owen's POV

I run towards Hamaya as soon as she got here. "The Indominus cracked the glass separating it from the viewing platform and we don't see it." Hamaya glared at me. "First of all, his name is Snowdrift. And secondly, what do you mean you don't see him?!" I sighed. "There are claw marks on the side of the paddock and we think it-he might have gotten out. We were waiting for you so we could go in." She sighed and walked over to the large doors and I stood with one other guy behind her. As we walked in Hamaya motioned for us to stay by the gate. She looked around and seemed tense.

Hamaya's POV

I walk around a little bit when Owen suddenly pulls me away and towards the gate. Snowdrift was growling and standing over the area I was standing at moments ago. Owen pulls me out of the paddock and yells for the gate to be closed, but it's too late. Owen hides with me under one of the park jeeps and covers us in transmission fluid just as Snowdrift breaks out and eats the one guy that was in there with us. I could tell Snowdrift was searching for me. He has no reason to hurt me. I want to calm him down, but I don't want anyone else to get hurt. He soon walks into the surrounding trees and I can't hear him anymore.

Snowdrift's POV

I was so tired of not seeing Hamaya. If they won't let her have time to see me, I'll just have to find some way to get to her. They called her here? How dare that Grady guy touch her! Hamaya knows I won't hurt her, but they don't trust her judgment. Where did he take her? I need to find her, she's the only one that cares and understands me. I hate when I don't see her, she has to spend all of her time with other dinosaurs and her "mother" makes her do all of this ridiculous stuff that isn't even relevant to the park itself. That evil woman is also abusive. If she wants danger and she wants to use me as an asset the way she uses Hamaya, then I'll give her a reason to be afraid. No one, and I mean NO ONE, messes with Hamaya and hurts her the way Delilah does.
