Mana's POV:

Forgot to mention she also knocked the sense into Bakugo so he acts like a big brother to Izu and their relationship didn't go sour.

"Come on Izu, you need to get breakfast." I said gently as I shook my brother's shoulder. His eyes opened and he started rubbing them.

"Is Kacchan here yet," Izu slurred. As soon, as he finished the doorbell rang. I giggled,"I guess he is now, you should get dressed." He nodded and started to get up as I turned the corner.

I then left to go downstairs. As I reached the door, I opened it to see Kat (She also gives lots of nicknames) looking ready to conquer the world. "Come on in Kat," I said.

"Is Deku almost done?" Kat said expectantly.

"Yeah I got rice pudding in the kitchen I know you guys love it." I told him as Izu came into the kitchen.

"I have Katsudon in the fridge for dinner, I might not be back by then." I said as I kissed Izu on the forehead as I walked out," And yes there is enough for all three of you."

I heard resounding Yayys as I walked out.

** Time skip to after school **

I went around behind the school to get to the convenience store. (Ps she changed to casual clothes) I planned to get a small snack and head to the junk yard to get some parts and just relax. I went in and grabbed an assorted fruit flavored water avoiding Orange like the plague. I never understood how that could be someone's favorite, it's not even tart and tastes so artificial. I also grabbed a bag of jolly ranchers, they were an odd American candy, way too sweet but the sugar kept me going on little sleep.

As I headed down the alley way on my way to the junk yard. I saw a man leaning against the wall in the alley, his posture seemed familiar. I adjusted myself to catch his eyes, stunning turquoise eyes captured mine seeming inquisitive as well. I immediately looked down to his pinky sensing the small paper cut. I knew who this was.

My knees collapsed and I started sobbing.

"But you're dead," I whimpered. Suddenly I felt warm arms surround me.

"Ember please don't be a dream, please don't be a dream."

"I promise butterfly, this is all real." He murmured into the back of my neck.

I stood and pulled a tissue from my pocket. I dabbed his eyes paying no attention to the scars, we would talk about them when he was ready. I then dried my own eyes. "Do you have a place we can go to talk?" I asked gently. I didn't want to talk in the alley way, but if he didn't the junkyard would work.

"Yeah," He said, he bent down and brought me to his chest as I wrapped around him like a koala. I held him tightly afraid if I let him go he'd disappear. I burrowed my face in his neck slightly embarrassed that anyone might see us, but also unwilling to let go just yet.

"Stick to nick names when we're inside" he whispered. I nodded, it made complete sense of course he wouldn't go under his real name that would attract a lot of attention. That also implied that there would be other people there.

What if they don't like me? What if they don't trust me? What if they kick him out? Or don't let me see him again?

Ember must have noticed my stress because his hand started rubbing my back. Everything would be alright. He knocked on the back door of an abandoned building. I immediately recognized the rhythm it was 7 years old, specifically the line,' It was a big big world but we thought we were bigger.' He then opened the door to what appeared to be an old bar but for some reason there appeared to be a stove behind to bar and a microwave that was plugged into the wall. It was obvious which was used more. It was odd but the building still appeared to have power, but they kept anything noticeable off. I wandered to the other side of the bar not looking up to the two people sitting at the bar. There appeared to be a fridge and freezer under the bar where the alcohol would go. There was also a sink and several cabinets.

Suddenly a voice popped up from behind me," Hi! What are you doing here?"

I turned to see a girl not much older than my brother. She has beautiful blonde hair in two messy buns and Garnet eyes. "Ember brought me," I said, "Could I do your hair?"

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" she squealed hopping up and down. We both walked around the bar and sat down on the floor. I liked her already. Chairs were overrated. I carefully took out her buns revealing that her hair went to her mid back or it would once I got the knots out. "What's your name? Mine's Mana Midoriya." I asked as I started untangling, pulling detangling spray out of my bag as well as a hairbrush.

"Himiko Toga." She said seeming to vibrate with excitement.

"May I call you firefly," I asked. She nodded.

Suddenly the man sitting at the table seemed to get frustrated, his hand went to his neck scratching furiously. He seemed to be debating attacking me as Ember stood in front of me. He seemed to be experiencing a mixture of fight or flight and a panic attack.

I saw the worry in Firefly's eyes. I slowly got up and walk slowly with my hands in the air towards him. His eyes were fixated on me as I inched towards him.

"My name's Mana Midoriya." I said as calmly as I could keeping my voice even, "May I know yours?"

"Shigaraki," His voice was hoarse, and I could already tell that he needed more water.

Together we went through each of his senses, calming him slowly. Once he was calmed down, I got his permission to bandage his neck as we talked, we explained that I knew Ember, or as he was now called Dabi. Ember explained that I was harmless as I went back to Toga's hair. Once I finished a fish tail braid down her back, I decided to make something for us to eat.
