A Secret Life

A Secret Life (chpt. 16) Can't Quit!

In the morning, Kumiko just woke up and went to her bathroom to wash  

her face. After that she went downstairs to make some breakfast, after  

she cooks she eat it and went to the park to do her daily routine.

When she's done doing her routine at the park, she went home, took a  

bath, change to her uniform and went to school.

As she arrives in her school, she went to her class with Becca who's  

waiting for her.

In the meanwhile, Charles saw her but he's very shy to approach her now.

When he went to the soccer field, he saw Leo practicing soccer.

Charles: Leo!

Leo: Oh! It's you. What's up? *kicking the ball to him*

Charles: It's nothing. I just want to practice

Leo: Ahh.... Let's play!

After several hours, Kumiko's class had ended.

Lunch time....

Kumiko: Becca! Let's go?

Becca: Ahh! Sorry Kumi I'll catch up with you later, I have something  

important to do.

Kumiko: Ahh.... Sure! Eat your lunch, okay?

Becca: I will *smiles and walks away*

Kumiko: *in her mind* sigh... I'll just go...

On her way to their eating spot, Kumiko saw Charles.

Kumiko: Charles! *approaching*

Charles: Hey! Going to eat your lunch?

Kumiko: Yup *nods* You're going to eat with us?

Charles: umm... I guess it's not

Kumiko: Ahh.... So it's me and Leo only

Charles: *shock* Where's Becca? You're not going to eat with her?

Kumiko: She said that she have something to do today

Charles: ahh....

Kumiko: Okay! Bye! *walks away*

Charles: *in his mind* Tsk! I don't want them to be together! *grabs  

his phone* Hello? Hey! I'm not going to practice for today, I have  

something to do. Okay, bye

When Kumiko arrives to the sitting spot, she saw Leo waiting for her.

Leo: Kumiko! *waving*

Kumiko: Oh! Leo! You're here already

Leo: It's because I'm not going to practice for today. By the way,  

where's Becca?

Kumiko: She's busy

Leo: Ohh... Let's eat!

Kumiko: Okay! *sit down*

Charles: Hey guys! *approaching them and sit beside Kumiko*

Kumiko: I thought you can't eat with us?

Charles: Ahh... Our practice canceled so I just went here to eat with  

you.

Kumiko: That's good!
