Mental and physical abuse is present in this chapter, this is your warning
The day ended which Jeongin hoped it didn't. The was faster than normal and he hated it. He would usually adore the days they went by fast, it meant he could spend the rest of the day with friends, but his dad was being weird.
Jeongin snapped out of his thoughts and slowly made his way towards the front of the school. He gripped the sweatshirt he was wearing as he started to get more nervous even though he was barely out of school. He opened the door and squeezed pasted everyone to get through everyone. He got out of the crowd and exhaled deeply, rubbing his arm to calm down.
"Innie?"
The male jumped and turned to look who spoke. Chan stood there with a worried look at the male who was calming down. "Is everything okay? Just yesterday you were barely jumpy and now your jumping at everything," Chan expressed as he tried to grab Jeongin's hands but the younger smacked them away. "W-Wait! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that," Jeongin says as he took Chan's hands. Chan gave him a smile and rubbed his knuckles. "It's okay, is everything okay at home?" Chan asks and Jeongin nodded his head. "Y-Yeah, everything is okay."
Chan wanted to believe it but he couldn't. "Are you sure?" Chan asks and Jeongin nodded his head. "Yep, I just watched a horror movie last night," Jeongin responds and Chan gave him an unamused look. "Stop watching horror movies," Chan said as he squished Jeongin's cheek. "I'll try, I have to get home now," Jeongin says and Chan frowns. "Your parents still giving you chores?" Chan asks as Jeongin slowly slipped his hands out of Chan's. "Yeah, grandparents are coming over and the house needs to be clean," Jeongin explains and Chan hums. "Okay...tomorrow? It's the weekend."
Jeongin thought before nodding his head. "I'll see," Jeongin says and Chan smiles. "Alright," He says. He cupped Jeongin's face and was happy that he didn't flinch. "Get home safe, tell me when you get there," He says and gave Jeongin a peck on the forehead, a habit that was picked up. "Okay," Jeongin says as his cheeks heated up a tiny bit. Chan chuckles and lets Jeongin go. Jeongin gave a wave and walked off.
Felix walked over and nudged Chan who looked at him. "Ready for the session?" Felix asks and Chan's eyebrows furrowed before he understood. "Oh, right!" Chan says and Felix snorts. "Let's go," Felix said and Chan nodded his head.

Jeongin stared at his house and exhales. "You got this, he's probably asleep," Jeongin whispers and walked towards the front door. He slowly opened the door and stepped in, slipping off his shoes.
"Why the fuck does it take you so long to get home from school?"
Jeongin flinched at his father's voice. "I-I was talking with a friend," Jeongin answers, and the older man gave a scoff. "Who would want to be friends with your pathetic ass?" He spat which made Jeongin bunch up as he kept his eyes on the ground. "Look at me, I'm talking to you," He said and Jeongin did as told, regretting it when he saw what his dad was holding: an empty beer bottle.
"I-I need to go do homework," Jeongin lied. He didn't really need to do homework, he finished all of it. "It's Friday, you dumbass, your teachers never give you homework," He said as he grabbed the teenager's arm. "I'm being serious," Jeongin answers and now regretted ever saying anything about homework. He closed his eyes as his dad hit his head hard, harder than before. "Use the small brain you have to think for once."
Jeongin should've gotten used to the insults but they still hurt. He held back his tears but that failed when he received another hit to the head, more aggressive and harder. "You going to cry like you do every time?" He said as he threw his son to the more open area of the house. Jeongin whimpered and removed his bag. His dad walked over and Jeongin felt his heart pick up speed. "D-Dad, I need to go read for English," Jeongin said. It was half-true and half-fake. "No, you don't," His dad said and slapped him this time, "you're a fucking idiot, I'm surprised you have A's."
Jeongin wanted to say something but his dad's next words stabbed him right in the heart. "How do you get all those good grades? You didn't gain your smarts from your mother, she was a fucking idiot." Jeongin looked at him. "Don't talk about my mother like that," Jeongin said and yelped when he received another slap. "Don't talk back to me, fucker," He spat and Jeongin finally allowed the tears to roll down his cheek, hoping it would soothe the burning pain on his face. "Now he's crying," His dad said as he grinned, enjoying the moment of his teenage child crying. "C-Can I go up to my room now," Jeongin said in a soft voice.
The sound of glass cracking made him jump and scoot back a few inches from his father. "You think you're allowed to go up to your room after lying to me?" He said as he forcefully grabbed his arm. "P-Please! I'm sorry," Jeongin sobbed as he looked at the broken glass piece his dad held in his hands. "No, you're not, you're never sorry for anything you do to me," He said and forced the sweatshirt off of Jeongin who started crying more, wanting the comfort item. "S-Stop! Please," Jeongin said as he struggled against his dad's grip. "Stop moving, you piece of shit!"
