the next three chapters(this one and the final two of Jeongchan) will involve a lot of violence. This is your only warning!
Jeongin had finally gotten away from his dad thanks to Chan arguing with the older man and threatening to call the police on the elder.
Jeongin was silent the entire time Chan was packing his clothes into a bag. "We can get you your essentials on the way home, I want you out of here," Chan spoke in a gentle voice so the still scared male wouldn't burst into another crying fit at any raised voice he heard. Jeongin gave a simple nod and pulled the hoodie he was wearing over his knees as he hugged his legs.
Chan glanced behind him as he zipped up the bag. He stood up and slung the bag over his shoulder, walking over to Jeongin who stared into his soul. "Hey, it's just Channie," Chan spoke as he slowly reached his hand out so Jeongin wouldn't slap his hand away for the 4th time that day. Jeongin quickly looked at Chan's hand then back at the male. "Channie," Jeongin mumbles and grabbed the male's hand as he pulled his leg out of the hoodie. Chan helped him off the bed and held his hand loosely but kept a stronghold on it.
"Let's go get some-"
"I'm not hungry."
Chan just gave a smile and nodded his head. "Alright, let's get frozen yogurt."

Jeongin sat in Chan's lap as he watched the cartoon intensely. Chan was doing work for one of his classes and was completely fine with Jeongin being clingy. He didn't dare touch the male who probably would start freaking out so he gently adjusted himself. The light jingle caught his attention and he slowly moved his head to look at his dog who was staring at the unknown male.
"Hey, berry," Chan said and Jeongin adverted his attention away from the TV to look at the dog. "Oh, Innie, that's Berry," Chan says and Jeongin looked at him then at the dog whose tail was wagging. "She's nice, don't worry," Chan said and Jeongin slowly got off of the male's lap. He slowly walked over to the puppy and slowly sat down, the dog quickly crawling into his lap and licking his face. Jeongin jumped at first and quickly looked at Chan with horror-filled eyes. "It's okay, she's loving you," Chan said as he stood up and gave the male a kiss on the head.
"I need to get something from my car, stay here with Berry," Chan said and kissed his head again before leaving the room.
It was barely even a minute; before, Jeongin felt the presence of his hallucination that Felix told him about. He looked over to the corner to see the man standing there, this time a red color which frightened Jeongin. He hugged the puppy who was very confused at the human but didn't really care.
"G-Go away," Jeongin whimpered out as he scooted closer to the desk. The male stared at Jeongin intensely with an almost possessive aura. "Go away, you're not my Channie," Jeongin said as tears started to roll down his face. Chan was gone for too long and it started to make Jeongin nervous.
