Ourania dance around the kitchen as she prepared lunch for her husband. It was Saturday and it's her day off so she thought of surprising him in his office with her homemade lunch. She smiled to her self as she stir the sauce, thinking about her past self who can't even turn on a stove without help.
She grew up in a household where she doesn't have to do anything except be a proper lady her parents can approved. Her family is one of the most influential family in England and in Greece, thanks to her dad and so her mother made sure she and her sister grow up to be the most proper and sophisticated ladies.
"Are you sure you don't need any help Mrs. Bianchi?" She turn around to their Cook, Mrs. White who looks at her with a slight scowl, a very familiar look whenever she uses her kitchen, probably regretting teaching her how to cook in the first place.
Ourania smiled at her and then shake her head no before looking back the at the stove, after making sure that the sauce is ready, she turned it off and mix in the cooked pasta before putting some of it in the Tupperware she prepared. After cleaning the kitchen, she quickly ran upstairs to take a quick shower to remove the food odour that latched onto her skin and hair.
She choose to wear a simple red sweater, a black jeans and a black stiletto. She put on a matching red lipstick and let her curly brown hair fall down her arms, satisfied with her look, she went down and place the pasta and the baked garlic bread on a food bag before stepping out of the house, a car already waiting for her in front.
"I want to drive down there myself." She stated and and ask for the car key, her driver slash bodyguard stared at her with wide eyes, fear evident in them.
"I'm afraid I can't do that Mrs. Bianchi, the Don strictly instructed that I'll stick by your side at all times." He replied. Ourania shrug her shoulders already expecting this to happen, but she wanted to try anyway, she nodded in understanding before getting inside the car.
The drive towards her husband's company was only half an hour away from the Manor, so it didn't take them long to reach it and see the Bianchi Enterprise building. For people who are oblivious, they simply see this as a trading company like any others, but Ourania know it's more than that.
The Bianchi Enterprise is only a facade, underneath it is a dangerous organization called Bianchi Group, a syndicate lead by one of the most fearsome man who only succeeded the role five years ago and yet he's already well known by all the other syndicates as a cold blooded and ruthless man even more worse than his father. Ourania didn't care about the fact though, he just loves him, all of him.
She met him in her 22nd birthday party, although she was wary of him because the man oozes power and she was quite intimidated, well everyone is. After introducing herself to him, she basically avoided the man like a plague the entire night and he saw that as a challenge. He thought she was one of those girls who wanted to be chase by him but would eventually give up after just a day, but not her. Ourania grew up as a wallflower, shy, timid and very naive. Unlike her sister, she took all her mother's lesson and all the lessons taught by her teachers by heart and she wasn't really allowed to set foot outside their Manor back in Greece, unlike her sister who always sneaks out whenever she had the chance, not caring about consequences.
It took him a month to get Ourania to say yes to a date, took him eight months to make her say yes to be his girlfriend and a year for her to say yes into marrying him. He fell in love with her good heart, her intelligence, her beauty and everything about her and she was the same, probably more so.
The car stopped in front of the building and she immediately step out of the vehicle, thanking her driver for opening the door before she walk in the building, greeting all the employees she came across with before getting in the elevator and press 25th floor. She hummed at the soft music playing in the elevator and tap her foot until she arrived at the floor and happily step out, usually, her husband's secretary would beam at her but today, she's not at her desk. She slowly approach his office and reach out for the door handle, she slowly open the door and peek inside, careful not to disturb him but instead, she was the one who was disturbed upon seeing her husband sitting on his swivel chair with her sister on top of him.
She slowly back away, not bothering to close the door and hurriedly run towards the elevator, thankful for the carpeted floor, silencing the sound of her heels. She pressed the down button multiple times and flinch, forgetting for a moment that elevators make a sound. She went in and pressed the close button, the door started closing before taking her down. She left the food at the reception and run out, getting in the car and hurriedly told the driver to take her home.
She basically jump out of the car before it properly stop and ran upstairs, packing all her clothes, passport, ID's and money. All the people in the household look at her with concern and confusion as she moved frantically around, she look at all of them one last time, smiled at them one last time before going out. She didn't know how she convinced her driver to take her to the airport, but he did, she didn't say goodbye to him and just went in.
She bought a ticket to Greece and went inside the waiting area. She knows he will find her, that's why she formed a plan to get to Greece and from there on, she'll ask one of her father's friends' to help her get a fake ID's and passport and travel yet again to another country.
So she waited, waited to board the plane that would take her away from England, take her away from them, from the pain and take her away from him.
She was never the type to confront anyone and would rather avoid them, so that's what she was doing, but rather than avoiding him, she's running away instead.
