When detention was FIIIINALLY over, I walked down the halls with Harry by my side, chatting quietly.

" You know. I'm sorry for the way we acted on the train. We uh.. We thought you might be like Malfoy and call Hermione names. Since she is muggle born and all." I looked at him and smiled.

" Is she really? I love muggles. Really. They are genius. I  would love to be friends with her and ask her about her muggle life. And please don't think of me that low. That was centuries ago. We've learned better. " I laughed and patted his shoulder.

" Oh alright then. In that case, would you like to join me and my friends for dinner? " He asked hopefully.

" Of course. Let's go. I'm so hungry. "

We hurried to the Great Hall. Students were everywhere, chatting happily while enjoying the food. I looked at my table and noticed Daphne with the girls and the boys. Upon my arrival, Draco looked at me straight away and motioned with his head  for me to go sit next to him. What a funny guy. As if I would do that after he insults me all day.

I grinned at him and wrapped my arm around Harry's. At this action, Draco clearly got angry because he was rapidly speaking to his followers while pointing angrily at me. But I couldn't care less.

Harry looked at our linked arms and looked down, as if he was hiding his blush. We then sat down at the Gryffindor table. When I sat down, Hermione looked up at me and smiled. Ron however, was looking suspiciously at me and Harry.

" Guys. If you don't mind, I called her over to sit with us since she clearly isn't a fan of Malfoy's presence." He explained while eyeing up Ron trying to reassure him my presence isnt a bad one.

I don't get it. Why is he acting like that? I haven't done anything to him.

" Aspen, this is Ginny, Ron's sister and those are-"

" Fred and George. The coolest of the Weasley family. Pleasure to meet you Your Highness." The twins joked. I only met them but I liked their energy.

I giggled. " Nice to meet you guys. I'm Aspen." Even though they obviously knew who I was, it was only polite I introduced myself.

We all chatted happily, though Ron would give me scowls from time to time. Hermione, who was sitting next to him, would elbow him and tell him  to stop being rude.

I asked Hermione if she knew famous muggle singers or other muggle related topics and she was so happy I looked so interested. She admitted when we first met on the train, she thought I would bully her but then we laughed about it because I turned out to be really nice to her. The twins would occasionally make me laugh while teasing Ron or imitating professors.

We were just having fun when I accidentally bumped my freshly wounded arm into the table and I winced in pain. I tried to act as if I never did but this got the other Gryffidors' attention.

Harry was the first one to check on me.
" What happened? Are you all right?"

" No, I'm fine. I'm fine. Just. Just go back to the conversation."

Hermione seemed to be a very observant person as she noticed a little blood on the tips of my fingers.

" Is that blood?!" She cried shrilly.

I tried to cover it all up by acting unbothered but Harry exposed my masked expression by telling them what happened to detention.

" You have to tell Dumbledore. This is abuse. It's not legal!" she was so worried about us, trying to convince us that this was not normal. Even I knew that telling on Umbridge wouldn't get us anywhere. She was slowly taking over the school. Slowly, but surely.

After dinner, I said goodbye to my new Gryffindor friends and made my way to the dungeons.

I was walking alone, when I started hearing laughter from behind me. I turned around, and saw the little Slytherin squad coming my way. I decided to keep going, even though they would for sure be by my side in a few seconds.

" And what exactly do you think you are doing by sitting down at the enemie's table?" exclaimed Draco.

Oh no. Here we go again.

" I have the right to sit wherever I please and if I wanted to sit there I did. Got a problem with that?"  I crossed my arms. Getting ready to bite back. I thought

" You are disrespecting the name of Slytherin. They are so not worthy of your time. Instead of spending time with us, people of value, you do it with...those." He sneered.

" I don't see why you would care where I sit as you always criticize me. And if you really can't tell, I don't like you, so keep your distance from me. "

" We'll see about that, Serpentine. " He whispered in my ear, right before fastening his pace.

This git.

" Hey. Don't let Malfoy get to you. He acts like this with almost everyone. " Blaise pointed out, coming next to me.

" You said almost everyone. When is he not like this? " I asked curiously.

" Well. Whenever he would try to get a girl to sleep with him. That's when he acts all nice and sweet. After he's done, he goes back to being rude."

This made me snort. Of course he would be that type of guy. Pureblood or not, he can't keep it in his pants. I bet his father doesn't have any idea of how disgusting his son is. Hell, if he did know, he would surely castrate him. I would know this because all Pureblood families teach their children that they have to keep themselves innocent for marriage.

" I- well. Yeah I could've lived without having this information. Thank you."

Blaise only laughed.

When I got to my dorm, I plopped down on my bed, but not before checking my pets to see they are all right.

First day at Hogwarts. What can I say? Full of adventures.
