A/N Warrior Code

A/N Hi everyone, I took an unexpected hiatus because of school. Alright, to make this make sense since Birchclan, Valleyclan, Hummockclan, and Nightclan are not apart of the original Warriors timeline. There are different circumstances and a different history that I will write about later, because of this they have a different Warrior code. I will say it is worded differently but there are big changes to it, I hope you guys enjoy it.

The Warrior Code

1. Every warrior takes a vow to defend their clan even at the cost of their lives. Friendships are permitted between other clans but you must stay loyal to your clan. (kits between clans are allowed but they have to be raised in the clan that wants them.)

2. No cats outside their own clan are allowed to pass on their clan's territory.

3. Queens, kits, elders, and sick or injured cats are allowed to eat before everyone else. Unless given permission, no able-bodied cat may eat until they have hunted to feed the clan.

Prey is to be eaten and buried respectfully. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

4. A kit must be six moons old to become an apprentice. Before then, training may take place in camp for emergencies.

5. A newly appointed warrior will hold a silent vigil after their warrior ceremony.

6. Newly appointed deputies either have to be related to the previous leader or must have had an apprentice that has successfully become a warrior.

7. After the death, or exile of the leader, the deputy shall become the next leader.

8. After the retirement, death, exile, or leadership ceremony of a deputy, the next deputy shall be appointed before the second moonhigh after any of these conditions.

9. A gathering of the clans will be called during a full moon where a truce is held for the night and not even Starclan shall interfere. Fighting between clans shall not be tolerated at this time.

10. Make sure your borders are checked and marked daily. If anything poses a threat to your clan challenge them.

11. No cat can ignore another cat that is in pain or in danger, even if they are from another clan.

12. The word of a leader is viewed as the warrior code unless there is something that the rest of the clan does not agree with. Then the rest of the clan has the right to vote.

13. An honorable warrior does not need to kill to win their battles unless it threatens their life or someone else's.

14. A warrior rejects life with Twolegs unless it is a matter of life or death. After they have chosen their path they cannot return to their birth clan.

15. Every clan has their own right to be their own clan but if a time comes where the other clans are at risk then borders shall be abandoned. After the clans defeat what they were at risk for the borders shall be left as they were before

16. One must not have kits with their own kin.

17. Elders shall be given the utmost respect by their own clanmates even by their leaders.
