Chapter 5

Amelia's POV

I kept walking until I found a set of stairs leading up to another part of the house. Curious about where it led to, I started to go up.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?!" An angry voice boomed at me.

I jumped and spun round to see Gray speeding towards me.

"I was j-just looking a-around." I stammered.

"Don't ever and I mean EVER go up those stairs. As a matter of fact don't even go near this part of the house. Now I suggest you walk away now before I do something you won't like."

By the time he was finished, my body shook with fear as I felt like I was still living with Chris.

I quickly sped off running in the opposite direction, only to run into someone's chest. I backed up to see James, who luckily didn't hate me yet.

"Woah, what's the rush Amelia?" He asked me.

I'm running away from Gray that's what.

"Sorry." Was all I said. I've already made a bad impression on two people here. Three if you include Blake.

"No worries. I actually came to find you actually. I was wondering if you wanted a tour of the house?"

Well duh.

How else will I know my way around?

"Yes please." Was all I replied back. So then the tour began.

We went down the stairs to the first floor where there was an indoor swimming pool, a gym and a theatre room.

"Wow." I looked around in awe, my jaw dropping more and more as we went through each room. James chuckled at my reaction but continued with the tour.

Next he led me to the kitchen, dining room and the living room.

Again, same jaw dropping reaction as before.
