Everything is going to be ok (JOPPER)

After Joyce and Hopper left

Jonathan was asleep until he heard the door close and the car drive off, it takes him about 30 minutes for him to wake up but he gets up even though he knew that they already left. He goes in the kitchen and finds a note saying that she will be back soon, he doesn't worry about it too much. He makes himself a sandwich and goes back to bed.

About 30 minutes later he hears noise coming from the living room, he just thought it was Joyce coming back home so he went out looking for her, but it wasn't her that he found a man. A white male with blue eyes not much could be seen underneath the black hood and clothes he was wearing.

Jonathan's voice was getting shaky, he didn't know who this person was or why he was in his house.

The man turned around and saw Jonathan in the hallway after he had tuned on the light.

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP, PUT YOU FUCKING HANDS UP!" He yells pointing his gun at him

Jonathan walks out and puts his hands up with his head lowered "Whoa man you don't have to do this"

"SHUT UP GET ON THE GROUND NOW!"

"Fuck" he says and he gets on his knees

At this point he's screwed, he doesn't know what to do. He thinks "Don't move, don't talk, do exactly what he says and nobody has to get hurt right?"
Wrong. Someone always gets hurt in these situations, weather you listen to them or not either them or someone else doesn't care or wants to interfere. Then someone gets hurt

El and will wake up due to the yelling, the both walk out and stop when they see Jonathan and the robber, but still hidden.

"Should I do something?" El asked Will

"No because if you do something and he gets away he could tell anyone what happened and we would be in an even worse situation than we are in right now, you would be in danger."

Joyce and Hopper arrive home, they see the window is broken and the light on. They automatically assume that something is wrong.

The man tried to get passed the couch so he can leave but El used her powers and moved the couch in front of him, trapping him in the living room.

Hopper quickly unlocks the door and points his gun at the man as soon as he walks in.

"Wrong house to be breaking into bud, now ass whole, we won't have further trouble than what your going to get if you listen to exactly what I say."

"If you make a wrong move I swere to god I will BLOW THIS KIDS BRAINS OUT!"

"Do anything to him and a lot worse will happen to you"

The robber pulled back the hammer of the gun as a threat, with a few glances and the kids they agreed to let El do something. She twisted his wrist till his fingers crunched up and his gun fell, he fell too his knees.

Hopper walks up to him and takes off his mask, the man behind the mask was the neighbor.

"Hal?" Joyce exclaimed

"You know this guy?" Hopper asked

"Yea he's our neighbor."

"You are under arrest for breaking and entering, you have the right to remain silent. El hand me my handcuffs in your room." She ran off to grab them

"Wait you put handcuffs in her room?" Joyce questioned

"Just in case some shit like this happens"

El came back with the handcuffs and Hopper dragged him out to the car, he tells the rest of them that he is locking him up for the night and will talk to him in the morning. Silence was in the air of the vehicle, not a single word. Curiosity filled the man in the back seat, words tried to escape but too embarrassed to do so. Hopper liked the silence

They all went back to bed, feeling safe now that Jim took care of him. Joyce stayed awake, hoping that Hopper would come back, eventually he did. He walked to Joyce's room and knocked on the door.

"Hey, it's me can I come in?"

"Yea"

He finds her sitting on the edge of her bed, head hanging low clearly worried about something. She sees him walk in, he sits down and rubs her back gently.

"You okay?" He asks noticing that shes shooken up about what happened today, he brang her confort.

"I don't know hop, I mean after a night like this who knows what else could happen. Jonathan almost died and El risked her saftey to help him." Her voice was shakey, almmost like shes about to break.

"I know and its ok because i'm here, ok im right her i'm always going to protect your family always have and always will." He continues to rub her back

"Our family now"

"Right, Our family"

"Could you stay with me tonight? Im just still a little jittery."

Hoper smiled and said "Yes, of course" He climed into bed next to her and spooned her tightly. Having his hand on her stomach. El an Jonathan watced them cuddle a few minutes after they fell asleep, just wondering what could happen if one small thing was different. How different their relationship would be if they just talked.

But of course talking doesnt work with Hopper and Joyce just doesn't have the guts to. Jonathan and El both looked at each other.

"Are they going to be ok?'' El aked

"Yea I think they are" he smiled
