"LUKE! Come on" I scream as I yet again wait for him to finish doing his hair. He's going in the water,I have no clue how he expects it to stay however he has put it but I won't tell him that
"Noelle chill will you. You never know who you could meet" he taunts back. As much as I love my brother he likes to torment me at the fact that I enjoy the single life more than the relationship one
"You would never believe they were twins" I hear Rudy whisper shout to Kyra
"Haha very funny Rudy" I sarcastically snap back
Kyra and I have been best friends since she moved next door in grade 4. We were practically joined at the hip.
Luke is my twin brother. Yes we argue sometimes but what siblings don't. We have always been close but since our parents died we were each other's everything. As much as we love grandma gigi and everything she has done for us we couldn't have done it with out each other
And then there's Rudy. Kyra has had a crush on him since... I'm not to sure when but it feels like forever. We became friends In 6th grade when he transferred schools. He's like a brother to me.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts when I feel a sharp shove to my body and only realise as I start to plummet down that I am in the sea.
"LUKE I SWEAR" I yell as I resurfaced just in time to see him running back to shore. I try to swim but I realise my foot is caught. I'm a good swimmer. Always have been but I can't get out of it and the more I move the further down I'm being pulled.
I'm slowly being dragged under the water. I splash around trying to get people's attention. Luke's attention but no one saw.
As my head goes under I realise that this is it.
My life is over
I get to see mom and dad again
The cool salty water starts to fill my mouth and lungs as I try and get free. Slowly being suffocated.
Then it all goes black.
