1. karlnap **power outage**

Person A and B are at home together and there is a power outage.

Karl was staying at Nick and Dream's shared apartment for a bit. Dream had left them alone for 3 weeks while he was in the UK visiting his boyfriend, George. 

"Nickkkkk!" Karl called from his spot in the couch, a blanket draped over him and a bowl of popcorn in his lap. The said boy walked in.

"Yes, Karl?" He asked, hand resting on his hip as he leaned on the door frame.

"Come 'ere," he said making grabby hands at the boy. Nick sighed and walked over, sitting next to Karl. Karl leaned into him as he draped the blanket over the taller boy. 

"We should watch a movie" they had nothing better to do as it's storming outside.

"What movie?" Nick asked wrapping his arms around the smaller male.

"Inside out" Karl responded happily

About halfway through the movie, there was a loud strike of thunder 

BOOM

The room went dark and the TV turned off. Karl let out a quiet whimper as he scooted closer to Nick.

"Nick" he whined, pulling the blanket over his head.

"Hmm?" He hummed, unphased from the power outage

"I'm scared.." He mumbled burying his head in Nick's chest

"It's okay, honey," he said hugging the smaller tightly and kissing the top of his head "I'm here," he said quietly 

Karl brought Nick's head under the blanket, turning on his phone flashlight "nothing can hurt us if we stay together" he mumbled, pulling Nick to lay with him. Karl pressed a light kiss to Nick's lips before resting his head on the taller chest.

"I love you" he mumbled, a yawn following his words

"I love you too," Nick said, running his hands through Karl's soft hair. The two slept rather peacefully in the comfort of each other

Nick was the first to awake, looking at the sleeping boy on his chest. He internally awed at him. The morning sunlight gave his face a nice golden glow, soft brown hair framing his face and his lips slightly parted as he slept.

Oh did Nick love this boy, he loves him so much. 

He lightly ran his hands through Karl's hair as he hoped not to wake him. Karl stirred lightly, looking a bit dazed as he opened the beautiful brown eyes Nick fell in love with.

"Mornin', sunshine" Nick said, Texan accent more apparent as he just woke. Karl smiled at the nickname "Good morning, snapmap" he said, a small giggle following

"Call me, snapmap one more time and we're gonna have issues." He said jokingly

"Love you" Karl mumbled as he pressed a small kiss to Nick's lips, before slowly falling into a light slumber, Nick joining quickly.
