Isles Spider (Lumity story)

Chapter 1

Sun beamed through the edge's of my curtains as the sun lifted above the horizon.

I squinted my eyes open as the light reached my face. I looked around to see the same old room I remember. There were boxes in the corners of my new forever room. "I need to unpack those." I grumbled to myself in a husky voice from the early morning. I looked over at my alarm clock checking the time. 6:06 AM. "Uuuuhhhhg!" I slammed my pillow in my face trying to go back to sleep.

No matter how hard hard I tryed sleep couldn't fall back into my mind. Putting away all my annoyance, I slid out of bed.

I looked at myself in the mirror next to my closet. Since the summer I stayed here for. I was quite a bit taller and a bit more difined. I was a lot stronger then from the last time I was here.

Of course I had viseted from time to time after I left. But definitely nit as much as I wished. Once I had gone back it took me months to convince my mom at was at an alternative dimension and not camp. I was almost sure with how I was acting she was going to try and send me back to camp. And even so she only believed me once I showed her the portal when I was heading to one of my visits.

I pulled black jeans a white and purple striped shirt and some black shoes out of my closet and threw them on.

I opened the door to the bathroom and turned on the lights. I put some toothpast on a toothbrush and started brushing my teeth.

I felt a pinch on my hand causing me to scrunch my nose. I looked at my wrist and there was a spider biting me.

I slapped it causing it to fall to the ground. The area surrounding the bite turned red and started to swell.

I turned on the tap and ran the bite under cold water. It stung like hell! "Spider bites dont usally hurt this bad do they?"

I tryed to ignore the pain and I sped downstairs to get some food. I opened the cupboard pulling out some bread and putting some in the toaster. 'Eda must still be asleep' I thought as I looked around the living room. I pulled the toast out of the toaster as it popped putting a piece in my mouth.

I checked my phone looking at the time. 7:02 AM. I put my phone in my pocket picking up my bag and running through the front door.

I walked down the dirt path the tiny rocks crunching under my feet as the trail slowly turned to concrete.

I walked past a variety of stands checking out some trinkets of all sourts, and soon I arrived at Hexside. I walked up to the front doors pushing them open and walking over to my locker. There standing at my locker was none other than Willow and Gus. "LUUUUZZZ!" Gus threw his hand in the air waving me over. I rolled my eyes with a smirk on my face walking over to them.

"Hey guys." Willow and Gus had changed as well along me. Willows hair was slightly longer then before, and a bit darker.

And as for Gus he was quite a bit taller, nit taller then me but taller then Willow. "So whats your first class?" Willow looked over to me with books in her arms.

I pulled my classes sheet out of my bag and looked at it. "Uhm science." I looked up from the sheet to see gus bouncing up and down with excitement. "Oooooo! I wanna see what classes you have!" Gus grabbed the paper and tryed to pull it out of my hand, but to no avail. "Okay, okay I get it. Secret classes!" Gus put a finger gun under his chin and wiggled his eyebrows.

"Well Luz see you later, we gotta go!" Willow waved goodbye as her and Gus walked off, probably to their next class.

I smiled and waved back and as soon as they were out of sight I stopped. I looked at the paper in my hand and tryed to let go but it was stuck. I started to shake my hand violently to try and get it off, but nothing. "What the-"
