Luz's POV:

"Mysterio- what? Why in the hell am I- how in the hell did I get here? I was just-"

"You we're just in your childhood home. Correct?"

The man let out a deep chuckle, letting go of my jaw and flicking his hand in the air, a news paper appearing in his hand.

I stared in shock as the paper just seems to form from a mist, swirls of smoke still circling the sides as if it weren't a physical item.

"'Man shoots his wife with his child in the room. Later shoots himself during police pursuit'." The man looked down at me, throwing the papers at my feet as I scrambled to grab them. "That was your father. Wasn't it?" He paced around the office, turning on a small table lamp. "To my knowledge, your father slept with another girl, and when your mother told him to leave, he shot her, then himself. Leaving you to be put in child care before being placed into the home of a woman name Edalyn. Correct?"

Staring down at the papers, my pupils dilated from the sight of the article.

'Police are baffled by a simple mans actions this evening as he shoots his wife and makes an escape. Neighbours who were interviewed all described Darren Noceda as a "Kind man", and never thought he would commit to something as horrible as this. Others also mentioned how the house had been quite loud over the past few months. Sounds of yelling and glass shattering being reported to the police. After this tragic incident, Darren Noceda ran down the North Highway. Later shooting himself in a stand off with the police. After searching the house, a small child was found, later revealed to be Darrens daughter. She may have been shaken and scared, but had enough courage to tell us her name is Luz. Our condolences go out to the girl. Our facts show-'

As I tried to read further, the paper slowly turned to mist in my hands and I grasped for it to come back.

"Oh how tragic."

Though the mans gaze pierced through my soul, he laughed to himself in each sentence, seeming to enjoy my pain just like the other sicko.

"What a shame it would be if you were to loose another person. You're already two down, and I have one more all prettied up and ready for death."

My hands started to tremble in fear from the slight mention of it.

"Where is she? Is she okay?" My voice quivered and hurt as a lump formed in the back of my throat.

"She's perfectly fine. For now." With a small flick of his hand, the very room I was in shifted below me, turning into cold metal.

I got to my feet as fast as I could, trying to keep my balance as the floor below me clicked, and turned to the side.

"But time is running out for her."

I looked around my surroundings, looking as if I were behind the face of a massive clock, standing on a large metal gear.

The gear shifted again, along with all the others, almost making me tip over.

"You may not understand our motives."

The gear moved once more.

"But you will soon."

The gear shifted again, but this time, the metal started quickly turn to rust. Soon after, the rust started to wither away in the wind. Crumbling at the edges, slowly making its way towards the middle where I was standing.

My breathing quickened as I did everything that I could to stand in the direct middle, but it caught up to me anyways, withering under my feet as I started plummeting into the darkness below.

My stomach dropped as fell.

I tried to shoot out a web, but nothing worked.

The longer is was in this hallucination type dealer dream, the loud and louder my spider senses got.

A fell for what felt like hours. Dropping through the darkness like a weight in the sky.

Until it stopped. It all stopped.

I looked up to find myself in a bright room. Lights in every corner.

It looked like a medical room. The walls floor and roof all being a pure white. One wall being a giant mirror reflecting back at me.

But in front of me was a small medical chair, but the person who was in the chair...

"Amity!"

I scrambled up from the ground, practically tripping over my feet to get to her.

"Amity! Are you okay?! What did they do to you?!" I let out heavy pants as I tried to pull the restrains off of her, becoming more horrified by the second.

"Amity? Answer me! Are you okay?!"

After the restraints wouldn't budge I looked up at her, gently placing my hand on the side of her face, as she was unresponsive.

"Amity?"

It was silent. Not a noise to be heard other than my heart pumping and the blood roaring through my ears.

Soon enough, her eyes slowly cracked open, looking up at me. "Luz...?"

"Amity! You're okay! Oh my god you're okay!" I put my forehead against her shoulder, my heart seeming to slowly calm down.

"We need to find a way out of here. My webs aren't working, but maybe I could find something else to break the restraints. I just need to-"

"You really thought you could help me?"

I froze in my spot, moving my head up so I could look at her.

"What?"

Her eyes were blacked out, a horrifying smile on her face.

"Amity what-"

"They already helped me."

A gurgling, boiling noise caught my attention as I turned my gaze to her arms, seeing them practically turn to sludge and reassemble outside of the restraints.

I looked back to her, the rest of her body melting out of the metal that was holding her down.

White dots seems to slowly form in the middle of her eyes, mimicking the look of a pupil.

"I don't need you any more."

Her voice slowly turned distorted. Blood slowly stained her shirt as it dripped on to the floor.

She lifted up the mid of her shirt to show me the large hole in her stomach, looking as if she had been hollowed out.

"They fixed me." Her voice became deeper as her smile slowly grew beyond anything normal.

"I don't understand..." my breathing slowly returned to being sporadic.

"Of course you don't. I didn't either. They can fix that for you."

As she slowly walked towards me, I backed away, tripping over my own feet until I was pressed against the mirror.

Loud cracking noises filled the room until the wall shattered under my touch, leaving me to fall backwards into a dark abyss.

"Bye bye."
