As Ophelia walked out of her house, she felt a sudden pain strike her chest.
"Ah!" She shouted in pain, clutching her chest, and breathing heavily. She stumbled back into her house shouting at her mom. "MOM help!"
She heard footsteps running downstairs, "Que pasa?!" her mother said, running to Ophelia worriedly. "I-I ca-cant breathe....cal-"Ophelia didn't finish her sentence when she started to cough and intake air rapidly. Her mother dialed 911 with shaking hands.
"Hello 911 what's your emergency?"
"My daughter she can't breathe! and she in pain! Help me!"
"Mam please calm down! Tell me what's wrong?"
"I told you she can't breathe and has chest pain!"
"Okay! Tell me your address-"
"Ophelia mija por favor respira! por dios-"
"Mam we need your address!"
"It's 6530 Pine Crest Rd!"
"Okay, the ambulance is on their way! Just don't end the call okay?!"
"Okay.."
Ophelia's mother put her phone on speaker and went to her holding her hand and started to pray. "Mom don't p-pray a-and hand me a bag t-tt-to be-breathe.."Ophelia said as she tried hard to stand up. "Oh okay!..here breathe in and out!" Her mother said. As Ophelia breathed in and out she felt another sudden pain in her abdomen.
"AH" She shouted, clutching her abdomen and falling back onto the floor with a loud thud. Her mother shouted her name and the operator yelling into the phone...but all that Ophelia felt was the excruciating pain in her abdomen and chest as if she was being stabbed multiple times. Her mother shook her to keep her awake, but she felt the sudden gloominess and darkness wrap around her body like a cold blanket. Her eyes slowly started to close and feel heavier...the last thing she saw was her mother yelling for help as the paramedics ran into the home. Before she completely blacked out.
The last thing she heard was..."Ophelia I love you.."...
