4. Anxiety

She felt like wanting to throw up, her anxiety was at its peak now...she won't be able to hold her composure for too long now. She had goosebumps running through her back and arms, from the looks and energy Mr. Azriel was emitting. 

"Are you crazy?! we don't have the upper hand here Ophelia! The deal he is giving us would be stupid to decline it.." Evan stated, his voice filled with annoyance. "Well, I won't agree with-"

"Why?" Mr.Azriel said, tilting his head ever so slightly at them with an evil grin. 

Evan gave Ophelia a look of annoyance before sitting down and facing Mr.Azriel.

"Uhm-"

"You don't really know...am I correct? All you want is to be with Mr. loverboy here..because without him you can't live another day. Am I right or am I right?" Mr.Azriel asked, with a mischievous smirk. 

"Yes, you are right Mr.Azriel...but it's true so please just let me move on with him..please." Ophelia asked him with gleamy eyes. 

Azriel quickly placed a hovering black mist in front of them, his breathing started to be irregular..his heart beating a little faster than usual. 

*FLB*

"Please Azriel don't let me go back...It's okay even if I become a guardian it's fine-"

"No, I can't! I can't!" Azriel shouted his throat tightening up, as his eyes became red from his tears. He had to choose between having his love be with him..or go back to her mother.

"I love you...and I'm sorry." Azriel said, sadly as he hugged her tightly...he placed his hand above her head, & said a prayer, and felt her embrace get loose with each second.

*FLB*

Azriel stop-C'mon breathe in and out.

The mist suddenly disappeared and Azriel appeared in front of them again.

"I-I think you two need some time away from eacherother...so Ophelia you go back and Evan you'll be her guardian." He said, his voice becoming sadder with each word he let out. Sitting back on his chair he sighed and drank some tea. 

Ophelia dropped to the floor..she couldn't even cry, from the amount of shock she was left in. Evan stared at Azriel for a moment before going to Ophelia and hugging her.

Azriel got up and left for his office, giving Ophelia and Evan some privacy.

"How did it go.?" Archangel Gabriel asked. 

"Don't know..." Azriel said, with his head down. 

Gabriel quietly flew to the room Ophelia and Evan were in..as he peeked through the crack he saw them there...crying and holding each other tightly. He felt a sting of pain in his heart..remembering how Azriel was in the same position they are in right now. 

Gabriel slowly walked out and fled to Azriel office.
