Day five: Riches don't matter.
Uzumaki Naruto was devastated. He was a father of two and with a very beautiful wife. How was he supposed to go home and tell them the heart wrenching news? How would he tell Boruto that he would not be able to hold that Christmas event for him or Himawari that she would not be getting a new doll this Christmas? How would he tell Hinata that he was fired from work?

Uzumaki Naruto was a happy man. His smile was so bright that it could power up a dead town and his eyes were so blue that they were their own sky. He was one of the friendliest persons to ever exist. Exotic golden hair matted his scalp in a buzz cut. It used to be longer but he decided to cut it for a more mature look. Six horizontal birthmarks, three on his each, marked his tan cheeks. They used to make him look stupider than he really was but now they were just an adorable trait that especially Hinata loved.
Uzumaki Hinata was his very, very beautiful wife. She was the humblest and most patient person that he had met. Her midnight hair was cut short to her shoulders and her lavender eyes were the most beautiful thing Naruto had seen. She had pretty pale skin, a contrast to his own peachy and tan skin but their mix gave them beautiful children.
Uzumaki Boruto was their first son. He looked just like a younger Naruto but with a better fashion sense. Blue eyes that rivaled the sea, blond hair that rivaled the sun and two whiskers, he was certainly a chip off the old block.
And then there was Himawari. The girl was so adorable just like her mother when she was that age. She had Hinata's face and hair but her eyes and whiskers were all from Naruto.
Naruto loved his family so much and never wanted them to suffer anything good so he always pushed himself to work for them. Unfortunately, this meant that he was not always at home for them. He always missed important things like he and Hinata's anniversary, Boruto's soccer game and Himawari's recital.
Because of this, his relationship with them became strained. Boruto hated him for missing his sister's birthday amongst many other things and did not hesitate to show the older blond how much hated him. Naruto's heart broke each time he saw Hinata and Himawari sleeping on the couch in the living room waiting for his arrival and a dish of cold dinner that they prepared for him.
For this reason, Naruto wanted to make it up to his family this Christmas. He had asked each of them what they wanted as Christmas presents one dinner during one of the rare times he was actually home early. After asking, he announced that he was taking them on a vacation. The reaction he got was very heartwarming. Himawari squealed in delight while Boruto was more subtle (at least he tried to be subtle) with his excitement and Hinata was very happy.
Naruto had been so happy the next day at work until his boss announced two weeks to Christmas that he was, mildly put, dropped from the work force due to some issues. Naruto's world was suddenly bleak at those words. "What do you mean sir?" He asked, voice reducing to a mere whisper towards the end of his sentence.
"I am really sorry Mr. Uzumaki, I really am. You really are talented and it has been a pleasure working with you but this company needs new and innovative ideas." The boss said with sympathy that oozed of falseness.
"Are you serious?!" Naruto lost it. "You're dropping me, an employee that has worked with you for years, for someone with 'new' and 'innovative' ideas?! Two weeks before Christmas??" The blond yelled. His world was crashing down just before his eyes. This was a disaster.
