I have historically tried my best to keep my original text intact whenever fine tuning this book, but I can't TAKE IT ANYMORE. I NEED to reintroduce myself or I will go legally insane (whatever that may mean) (the prime minister of my country will sign a document calling me a looney I think after what I'll end up doing if I need to look at the outdated introduction) (I said I'd probably get lazier along the way?! My essays got fucking 2k words long each! It's a nightmare! I'm a terrible fortune teller, clearly).
So, let my updated notes for this chapter be:
- Most of my old chapters have long since been unpublished. Not because I was wrong in them, just because the specific phrasing makes me feel physically ill.
- This book is a mess. Mostly essays remain, but I'll publish some rants as well. Could be about Creepypasta, but likely are about general horror things. I'm not capable of pretending my life revolves around Jeff the Killer anymore. Sorry.
- Everything shared are only my opinions. Feel free to discuss them with me in the comments, but remain civil! Be nice to each other! (And to me too. Please.)
- I usually don't tag sensitive topics when they regard typical horror stuff (say, violence or mentions of gore). Anything else (eg. abuse, trauma, mental illness) will not be discussed in very great detail unless otherwise specified in the chapter introduction, though there's no list with trigger warnings there either. I'm assuming this not to be an issue, but if you are going through a rough patch right now regarding any of these topics, feel free just not to read my stuff.
- I tend to go quiet for long periods of time yet I refuse to actually die
- This is not a place to bully young beginning authors. I will be poking fun at general patterns and tropes (including ones I myself followed once), but not the actual authors themselves unless the works are from 5+ years ago (in which case we can all assume the creator has since improved). Even then, I will never name drop them. Behave, you guys.
