"Heard you four have been hanging out with a group of Welton boys lately." Zina, a girl who had a reputation of being a rather big gossiper asked.

The Midtown girls were sat at a long table with food in the middle, the cafeteria filled with students and staff

Juno scoffed, remembering Charlie Dalton. Despite her constant denial of her feelings to her friends and even herself, it was clear to everyone around her that she and Charlie had undeniable chemistry. He's constant flirting and pet names for her although made her glare at him, it also made her feel special.

"It's none of your business Zina." Spat Dixie.

"See Dixie, this is why no boy has ever had a crush on you. You're harsh and rude. It's no wonder why you're single Goldenstien."

"Look Zina, i don't know what i ever did to you that ever made you feel like you had an advantage over me. But in about thirty seconds of you don't apologise, you would be sorry you ever opened your mouth."

It was clear Zina had crossed a line with Dixie.

Luna immediately grabbed hold of Dixie's wrist, a signal for her to calm down.

Dion approached the table, the smile on her face slowly leaving as she felt the tension at the table. "What happened?"

Dixie shook her head and smiled. "Nothing."

Dion looked over at Juno only for her to be ignored.

"Hey ladies."

Charlie loomed over Juno, resting he's arm on her chair.

Neil held up an old red book with a leather cover. "I found Mr Keating's senior annual in the library, we found something interesting. Want to pay a visit to the captain with us?"

"Don't know, haven't even dug in yet." Dixie huffed.

Knox popped out, "I'll just get you something else to eat after, I'm friends with the cook."

Juno smiled, "Where are you boys popping out from? And isn't this the girls table?"

Charlie wrapped he's arms around Juno's shoulder and rested he's chin on her head, "That's why you've got to be quick with the decision. If not it's detention for us."

"You guys go, I'll stay. I feel like finishing my food anyways." Dixie was determined to let Zina eat up her words.

"Come on Dixie, won't be long,I promise ."Meeks stuck he's head out beside he's friends.

"I swear you guys are multiplying like rabbits."

Suddenly, the anger for Zina subsided in Dixie. She took another look at Meeks before giving up her agenda. "Fine I'll go."

The four girls got out of their chair and walked with the boys to the courtyard, hoping to meet their English teacher, with Dixie throwing one last glare at Zina before walking out the door.

"Knew you couldn't say no to me." Meeks had beaming smile plastered on he's face, proud at himself for convincing the stubborn girl.
