The Side Effect

Hello,
so Jade has just opened her eye's.
And we shall continue.

Jade's POV:

I had just opened my eyes and I could see Ai sitting on the chair next to my bed.

I wanted to say hi but I didn't want to speak, nor could I find the strength to if I tried.

I smiled at him. He smiled back. That was enough for the moment.

I blinked a few times. My eyelids were heavy but I didn't want to go back to sleep.

Sleep meant more time away from my friends and family.

I wamted to know how long I had been jndr for but I couldn't seem to get my brain to work.

Suddenly I was swarmed by many doctors and nurses in white and green clothes. They started checking all of the machines I was hooked up to. Nymore ad I would probably be a robot.

One of the nurses came up to me and started asking me lots of questions but I couldn't answer. As I was answering them in my head-

"How are you feeling"

How do you think I feel. I just got run over by a car.

"Are you feeling any pain?"

Are you stupid

"How many fingers am I holding up," she asks me holding up 3 fingers.

Ok where did this woman gt her medical certificate. Online?

But then the boys walked in and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Hey Jade, you look.....different," Beau said.

I rolled my eyes.i just felt in a bad mood. Beau was probably my best friend but I didn't want to deal with people anymore.

I think they got the message because they started to back out of the door.

I wathed them go but turned my attention back to Jai. He was still sittig in the chair next to me not sure what to do.

I rolled over and tried to block everything out and go back to sleep because I had decided that I did not want to deal with people.

Jai's POV:

Jade had woken up but something wasn't right she was deep in thought while the nurses were trying to talk to her and then when Beau came in she just rolled her eyes and looked away.

I looked at her confused trying to figure out what might be wrong with her but she just stared back at me th hm turned over and slept.

Jade still hadn't woken up so I went to see if the boys were still in the waiting room. I walked past rooms with people coughing, throwing up and plain unconscious.

God I hate hospitals.

When I got to the waiting room I saw the boys with their heads facing the opposite way as the rooms so I walked up behind them and scared them.

They jumped. Very high.

I started talking to them about hlw the crash had happened which had now happened 2 days ago.

I asked Beau what he thought might be wrong with Jade since they were so close.

He didn't knlw so he planned o ask her next time she woke up. We talked abojt random things for the next 20 minutes until a doctor dressed in a white gown walked over to us.

So I wasn't planning on updating tonight but someone persuaded me to (thanks megan) so here it is.
