The Era Of Old Beginnings

Chapter 15

Every evening Freia would teach me how to use a sword. In return I told her I would promise to learn how to cook. She apologized for how she treated me but given that she bought me she has to treat me differently in front of people. Which I guess makes since. However after a week of training I soon felt lightheaded and sick which is when I realized I was pregnant once again. My heart practically dropped because I knew that the child was Hunters. If Freia found out there's no telling what she would do. 

Looking for Hunter I find her carrying a stack of wood to the lark he fire pit that was slowly cooking a bore.

"H-Hunter I need to talk to you."

"Sure! Whatever you need I'm here."

I lead her to the edge of the village where no one could hear.

"I'm pregnant."

At first she beamed in happiness but then she grew concerned then scared all at once.

"Are you positive it's mine?"

"I haven't slept with Freia ever since we lost our first child. Hunter I'm scared. Not because this child isn't Freia's but I'm afraid I'll loose yet another child. I don't want to loose another one. I don't want to be pregnant again."

Hunter pulled me into a hug as she tried comforting me.

"It's very unlikely that you will loose yet another child. If you do happen to loose it then it's possible you where cursed when you where small. But I hate to say this but you need to mate with Freia so she will believe it's hers. If she finds out I'm the mother then I won't be able to see the child grow. They would be considered a bastard and will live a harsh painful life. More harsh then mine. So please mate with Freia."

I nodded my head. I didn't want Hunter to leave. She was the only friend I had here. There have been multiple times where I considered telling Hunter where I came from but I'm scared she won't believe me.

Entering the village once more I immediately see Freia carrying something large and deadly looking. I didn't know what it was but I'm glad it was dead. She looked tired but I knew what I had to do in order for things not to fall apart.

Changing my mood I try to be flirty as I make my way towards her.

"Freiaaa." I say as I speak her name flirtatiously.

She arched an eyebrow at me and I couldn't help but smile as I leaned in towards her ear and spoke quietly.

"I'm horny. Won't you come to bed with me?" She suddenly looked energetic as her back straightened while she cleared her throat to get her peoples attention.

Of course she spoke in there language so I couldn't understand a word that she had said but afterwords she led me back to our home with a sly grin on her face. Freia was a somewhat good person and she has been patient with me.

But even though I am supposed to be with her I couldn't help but look back at Hunter who was staring sadly at me.

We where not together. And we will never be together. But I still wish a better life for Hunter.

Maybe one day I could take her back to my own time? There she could live a somewhat normal life and start an actual relationship.

As for me I need to speak with Indigo and see if there is someone or something that will be able to take me back to my own time.
