Mew groggily opened his eyes and looked around the dark room, his head was pounding. Where was he? Oh yes, he was at the hospital.

He turned his head to why there was something pressed against his body and was met with something that made him smile.

In his arms, curled up this his side was Gulf and his unruly hair was sprawled out on his shoulder.

He could hear soft snores leave the pouty chestnut lips and fan against his neck.

Carefully he reached his free hand that was connected to the IV over to caress his loves face and push away some stray locks out of his face.

He chuckled seeing Gulf deep asleep on his shoulder making his heart swell with even more newfound love for him.

He looked up when the door to his room was opened letting in a hue of light from the hallway and his mae walked in. "Ah! You're awake?" She whispered and her eyes fell on the bundle sleeping in Mew's arms.

Mew put his finger to his lips and she only nodded with a knowing smile and slowly closed the door again, basking the room in darkness and silence again.

Gulf stirred in his arms suddenly and groaned out uncoherent words. His eyebrows crunched together and his fingers tightened around Mew's waist.

Mew held his breath and tears filled his eyes when his words started making more sense.

"--irak, Tirak! P'Mew..." Gulf sniffles and buried his face into Mew's neck.

Mew pulled him closer and buried his face into his hair and reached out his hand to intertwine their fingers.

This seemed to relax Gulf again and he stopped trashing in his arms.

He remembered everything now, still not clearly but he remembered how Gulf had rushed into the room saying those same words over and over again. He had been half asleep at that point already but the last thing he had seen were the tears that had stained Gulf's face as he had grabbed his face and kissed his lips.

His heart ached at that memory and vowed to himself that from now on he would take better care if himself.

He knew he had lacked in taking care of his health and had kept on going and going but now after seeing how Gulf had worried about him he regretted it even more.

"I'm sorry tua eng..." he whispered hoarsely, pulling Gulf even closer against him, kissing his head and caressed his sides. Gulf's breathing evened out again and Mew sighed in relief when he softly started snoring again.

Yes, from now on he wouldn't neglect his health again. Not only for himself but also for Gulf, he wasn't alone in this anymore. He had someone else care about him too now. Someone who loved him and he loved back with all his heart.

Yes, from now on he needed to slow it down, both of them...
