[ Second Person POV ]
You slowly opened your eyes as sat up, groaning. "Mmm, 7:36am... fuck this I'm going back to sleep." You sighed as you laid back down and covered up.
Three hours past as you woke up once more, figuring you needed money to get food and keep affording your apartment, you slowly got out of bed.
You groaned as you picked out random clothes, a (f/c) dark jacket and some tight black pants along with some boots. You sighed and brushed your (h/l) hair, soon putting it in a ponytail to keep it away from your face even though your (h/s) bangs always got in the way of your (e/c) eyes so you put a hair pin in it.
"Okay I don't look that homeless so I'm good." You yawn as you grab your bag and head outside, walking to the guild hall as you felt like your legs were gonna fall off.
"Yo Mirajane, I'm gonna go on a job, any good ones?" You smiled at her with your usually smirky smile.
"Hmm, we'll there's this new S-Class one. I hear it's pretty dangerous though, I'd be careful (Y/N)..." She replies worriedly as she hands you the job flyer.
"Shit! This could pay for a whole 6 months of rent- it would be seven but my belly needs some dough too." You mumble.
"(Y/N)!!!" A familiar voice shouts, running up to me and hugging me tightly.
"Natsu, idiot don't hug me so tight!" You bark back.
"Ah sorry, just trying to be affectionate!" He smiles as he releases me.
"Well don't, anyways see ya." You wave as you take the flyer from the counter and walk out of the guild with your bag.
"Ouch, looks like your gonna be single for a while, loser." Gray comments.
"Shut the hell up, you ice stripper!" Natsu yells as once more, Gray and Natsu start a fight.
You walked along side the river, on your way to your job as you thought about that pink salamander and blushed. "Damn he's so annoying... hugging me tight... making me flustered... ugh!" You thought a loud. "Maybe once I finished this job... I'll tell him- no! Damn it don't be an idiot god! Just forget about there's no way he'd even like someone like me anyways..."
You sigh and look down realizing your words were correct. You were always pushing him away- thats what you always do. Afraid you'll hurt that person or even get them killed. Besides, you weren't someone who others could love, plain and simple.
"Hell, half the guild doesn't even like me." You chuckle as your grip your bag. Natsu was different... he always made you genuinely happy, even if you didn't show it. Be strong, or be weak. That was what you were always taught. Being a member of a guild like Fairy Tail didn't change that. But there was just something about Natsu, he made your life... worth living.
[ Three Weeks Later ]
Natsu's POV
"Mira, do you know when (Y/N) is getting back?" I asks, clearly worried.
"I'm not sure... she'll be back eventually, no need to worry." She smiles.
"Okay..." I say, looking down at the beer mug in front of me. Are you alright (Y/N)?
