Enemies - Draco Malfoy

Nightmares

Y/N POV:
I woke up to the sound of someone crying. I looked slightly over to my left where Draco's bed was and saw him tossing and crying in his sleep. He seemed to be having a nightmare. I rubbed my eyes and slowly lifted out of bed. Even though I didn't like Draco, it still made me feel bad to see him having that bad of a nightmare. I slowly walked over to his bed and sat down next to where he was sleeping . I started to gently shake him in attempt to wake him up. He quickly turned over to the side and grabbed me down next to him hugging me. "Please help me" he said shakily. I realized that he still wasn't awake so I started to shake him some more which only caused him to grip onto me tighter. After another shake his beautiful gray/blue eyes shot open and stared up at me. He quickly pushed me off of him after seeing that he was hugging me. "Sorry" he said gently. "Are you ok?" I asked him. "Yeah I just have nightmares sometimes... and don't even think of telling anyone about this" he said harshly. With that I strode back to my bed and flopped down, going back to sleep. I can't believe that after I was nice to him he had to be mean to my. I was just trying to help him.

Draco POV:
I can't believe that I had a nightmare in front of Y/N. And I hugged her! What was I thinking. I slowly fell back asleep, hoping to forget about the embarrassing experience that I had just had.
*In the morning*
I made sure to get up early in the morning so I could avoid seeing Y/N as much as possible. After I was dressed, I rushed into the Slytherin Common room and sat down at one of the couches. After a bit, everyone started to make their way to the dining hall for breakfast, which I soon followed. Because of my late arrival, there were only two seats left at the table. After I sat down, someone sat in the seat next to me. I looked over and to my displeasure, it was Y/N. She looked over at me and shot me an angry look. I shot one back at her. The entire time in the dining hall neither one of us said a word to each other. Well, that sadly didn't last that long. When we got to potions class, we got partnered up to do an assignment together. She looked at the teacher with a look of displeasure as she called our names together for partners. We decided that we would work together that night in our room considering that it was due in two days.

Y/N POV:
It was bad enough that I had to sit next to Draco in the dining hall, but now I was also partnered up with him for our homework assignment. After last night, I don't know if I can be nice to him or at least be a little nice. I just hoped that Professor Snape would change his mind, and would find other places for us to sleep. Preferably not in the same room. Well, hopefully our work session tonight would go well and we won't have to do a lot of stuff together.

Hey guys, I am so so sorry that I haven't posted in a while. I have been really really busy with school and my brother just tested positive for COVID-19.
