Winter has mixed feelings about its season. It is happy at the beginning, because most kids go sledding or skiing or something, but in the middle and end, he taps into their thoughts (winter can do that, it's a stalker) and hears things like this:
'Gosh, winter is gross.'
'I hate winter.'
'I want summer!'
'I'm so bored...."
So he is sad, and he gives a lot of kids frost bite and hypothermia. Winter is mean.
