Chapter 6

Crystal

     Two weeks later, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. In case you don't still get it, this means that I am pregnant for Reed West. I called to tell him but a female called Keena picked his phone instead and she told me not to call him again because Reed was still her a boyfriend and they don't need a whore fucking up their relationship.
I hung up angrily and decided not to call him even though I know it was pointless because he will still come looking for me.
    "So has he called yet?" Joziey asked
    "No and I am not planning on answering whenever he calls"
    "Crystal don't you think you are being extra?"
   "Extra? She called me a whore,a fucking bitch, she made me look cheap and he did nothing about it"
   "Crystal how are you even sure that he knows?"
   "Oh I know, I heard him talking in the background" I said as my phone rang.          "Speak of the devil and he calls" I said dropping it back on the counter
    "Crystal pick the call" Joziey said after it rang several times
     "Nope, ain't picking nothing" I said as he walked towards my phone. "Fine then I will"
   "Joziey" I called glaring at him as the phone stopped ringing and chimed notifying me of a message.
   "Crystal just answer this guy"
    "Joziey leave me alone and get back to your post"
   "Fine, just don't say I didn't tell you when he comes barging in here later"

Reed

   It is Saturday and I have been trying to get through Crystal for the past four days,I have called,texted and sent her voicemails but she hasn't returned anyone of them. So I decided to go to her place, After I cleared my schedule and told my workers to take the day off I went home to freshen up and change into a more suitable cloth. I got to Crystal's place 10 minutes after, I saw Joziey,Avery and Crystal talking but none of them saw me until I entered.
    "Hey" I greeted but only Avery and Joziey answered me while Crystal just turned away from me. "Can I talk to Crystal alone,please?"
   "Yeah,sure she is all yours" Avery said before Crystal could even answer. "Hey get your pretty little ass off that chair don't you know that it is not good to keep a hot guy waiting" Joziey said as Avery pushed Crystal into another room and urged me to follow her. I noticed when I entered that it was a Kitchen and it was Sparkling.
   "Are you going to spit out what you are here for or you are just going to continue eye-fucking" she said annoyingly
    "Okay I don't understand what is going on here. Why are you acting all rilled up?"
   "Really? You don't understand, so you are just going to pretend that me calling you and your ex picking up only to call me a whore is normal to you"
   "What?" I asked surprised. "Don't you dare act surprised because you were there when she was calling me names you did absolutely nothing" she said all rilled up
    "Hold on, you called and it was Keena that picked up?"
    "Was I speaking Spanish all along?" She asked with an annoyed look. "How could you believe I knew about all this. She came to my house that morning before I even got out of bed. I warned her to leave before I got out of the toilet and I didn't see your name in the call log that bitch must have deleted it"
    "How did she enter your house?" She asked. "I gave her a spare key when we were still together and I must have forgotten to collect it but I want you to believe me when I say I have collected it and changed the locks in my house. The only woman who would have my spare key is you" I said as she smiled a little
   "Don't patronize me. Why do I need to have it" she asked smiling
     "Have you taken a test? What was the result?" I asked and when she smiled I knew what the answer was already before she said "Postive"
    "So that means I am responsible for the two of you and like I said before I am going to spoil you"
       "And I told you that you don't need to do that. You are my client and my past clients only show up two months before delivery so you can go and still enjoy the little time you have left"
     "I don't really care how your past clients behave, I am not other clients and we are gonna do this my way"
    "You do realise i have a say in all this too right, you can't just keep deciding everything"she yelled and before I could respond we heard someone clear their throat behind me
    "Hey Crystal, Mrs Collins is here" Joziey said
   "I have to leave" she said walking away but I held her back
    "You are coming home with me tomorrow. I am not asking you"
   "Reed, you..."
   "Shh, end of discussion" I said putting my fingers on her lips to shut her up. I removed my finger and kissed her forehead before walking out.
