Once they let go of hands their crowns appeared on their heads. Luz then noticed the other half of the note laying on the ground. Amity wasn't looking so she picked it up. Right as she was about to open it Amity turned around and yelled "NO LUZ!!" but it was to late. Luz's face went into shock. She was just standing there frozen. She dropped the note on the ground while Amity tried to get Luz to talk. "Luz? Are you okay!?"
Luz just stood there but the said "Y-you wanted to a-ask me out?" still looking shocked. Amity nodded her head slowly. Amity started tearing up then that turned into crying. She ran off into the woods crying. Luz then asked the Blight twins if they know where Amity could be. "Ya'know mittens secret hideout in the library?" Edric said. Luz nodded. "Well shes probably there
" Emera said.
"Okay thanks!" Luz screamed while running of to the library. She finally got to the library out of breath. She stood there for a second to catch her breath then she went inside. She went to the romance section but she heard a voice saying "Your so stupid Amity!! Of course she hates you now! I never had a chance in the first place" the voice was Amity talking to herself crying.
Luz waited outside the door to see if Amity would say anything more and she did "Luz would never like a witch like you! Why would you even get your hopes up!!! You wont ever have a chance with Luz! For all I know shes straight and I cant change that!!" Amity them crying but not as hard as before. She then cried herself to sleep.
After Luz heard that she was asleep she opened the secret door and found Amity laying on a purple bean bag. Luz then walked over to the bean bag that Amity was on and sat next her. Luz started playing with Amity's hair and said "If only you knew..." then she fell asleep next to Amity on the purple beanbag.
