13: Willow

Wind was whipping at my face as I opened the coffee shop's door in front of me. I sighed when it shut, happy to be inside and not out in the cold anymore. My eyes quickly scanned the tables before finding Josie, who also spotted me and jumped up. When I walked over towards her table she immediately wrapped her arms around me in a huge hug.

"So good to see you," she said while pulling back and sitting back down. "I ordered you a hot chocolate."

"Thank god, thank you."

After shrugging my coat off I slumped down into the seat across from her. I was hoping I didn't look too gross since I just came from the rink, but Josie was so nice I don't think she'd say anything. I did spray myself with cologne before coming inside, since I knew I smelled gross.

"You getting ready for our trip?" She excitedly asked while basically bouncing up and down in her seat.

When Ryan suggested renting a cabin with Josie and Nora, I was immediately excited. When he told me the dates he rented the cabin for, I put it together that he was trying to get my mind off the Olympics. The entire long weekend we were going to be at the cabin was the start of the games. I really did love him so much; he cared about me more than I ever thought someone would. Since he was doing something nice for me, I wanted to do something even nicer for him. Like something sexual. Which made my face heat up just thinking about that.

"I can't wait! It's crazy that we leave tomorrow. But uhm, I was actually hoping you could help me out."

"Of course, what's up?"

My fingers wrapped around the mug in front of me as I quickly looked around the shop. "You know how I told you I think Ryan rented this cabin because of the Olympics." She nodded while taking a sip of her hot chocolate. "Well, I was thinking I would do something nice for him, to repay him. But uhm... I'm a... little embarrassed to buy uhm..."

Her eyebrows rose as she whispered, "Are you buying whips and chains or something?"

"No," I said with a laugh. "I've never had to buy condoms before."

"Ahh," she said while wiggling her eyebrows. "So this is going to be a fun trip."

"Can you help me buy some? I don't even know if he'll want to do anything like that but I want to be prepared in case he does."

She gave me a knowing look before saying, "Are you kidding me Willow? There's no way if you brought up something like this to him he wouldn't be all over you. I've seen the way you guys have been since Christmas, especially the way he's been looking at you. Have you guys done anything like that before?"

"No, mainly because I don't really know how to bring it up. But... I want to. And I'm just hoping he does too but I didn't want to ask him to buy any."

Her eyes were then quickly glancing around the room before whispering, "Are you going to lose your virginity?"

My face heated up as I started twiddling my thumbs together. "Hopefully."

"Oh my god Willow, this is going to be such a good trip! I promise Nora and I will stay out of your guys' way, we won't bother you at night. Now hurry up and finish your hot chocolate so we can go buy some protection."

When her eyebrows started to wiggle I couldn't help but laugh, basically chugging the hot chocolate. I followed her to the store before walking in and instantly getting nervous. What if everyone knew I was on my way to buy condoms, could they tell by my face? Is everyone this nervous?
