Confessions (FILLER)

(TW : underage drug use, drugging, mention of attempted murder)

Teruhashi was finally going to do it today.

She was going to tell Saiki that she liked him. They were going on a camping trip together with their friends. She wanted it to be romantic because if he knew that she liked him back then maybe he'd stop doing his job. Surely the setting of a sunset and warm lit fire would make his heart palpitate. He would finally say 'o-oh' to her and then she could die in peace knowing everyone she knew has said 'o-oh' to her at least once.

Saiki calmly walked with them to the camp site. Standing next to Toritsuka as he talked his ear off about something she wasn't paying attention to. It was probably something perverted anyway and she really didn't want to hear it. Clearly Saiki didn't want to either since he hit Toritsuka with a book he had. She didn't actually read what the title said but it was something in English.

Toritsuka did not appreciate being hit with such a thick, hard cover book while Mikoto cackled at the sight.

Teruhashi was sitting on a rock while the boys made her tent for her. Saiki was sitting at the edge of the cliff they were on which kind of freaked everyone out. He seemed to not care that one misstep and he was dead. A few had tried to convince him to get closer to the fire so he would be warm and wouldn't potentially die. She decided to go over and sit with him despite the protests from everyone else.

"Saiki-kun you really shouldn't be sitting at the edge of the cliff like this"

Saiki chose to ignore her and just continued reading his book. She then took it from him, placing her hand on his and smiling at him. He'll surely say 'o-oh' now! Saiki barely reacted which made her angry. Instead he grabbed his book back from the girl and continued reading from where he left off. Teruhashi pouted at the lack of attention but was happy that the other boy's blushed at the sight. However the boy she was trying to get a reaction from completely ignored her. Like she was like every other girl, or a bug.

Oh wait, Saiki wouldn't ignore a bug, he'd leave the spot until someone killed it for him. She thought it was cute that he was so scared of such tiny little creatures.

Actually a bug crawled on him and he kind of freaked out. It was strange that someone who was so find with killing another person was so scared of a bug. Teruhashi was very happy with the relieved expression he made when she used a leaf to get the bug off. Being the perfect pretty girl, she couldn't kill the bug so she just put it on a tree near where they were sitting. The others called her an angel while Saiki just simply thanked her for getting rid of the bug.

The group started playing truth or dare because Toritsuka suggested that they do it.

Saiki was against this idea but the others were not. Everyone was giving each other embarrassing dares and strange truth questions. Finally everyone began to target a specific person who just sat there either refusing to do the dare or tell them the truth. That person was Saiki. He very much didn't want to hold a bug like Kaido had dared him to.

"Saiki, truth or dare"

"Truth"

"Have you ever done drugs?"

"What kind of question is that?!"

"No... though Kusuke did try to drug me that one time"

"Ok... wait WHAT?!"

"Your brother did what?"

Saiki rolled his eyes, unwrapping a piece of bubble gum and popping it into his mouth. Kuboyasu began to wonder where the hell he got it all as he never seemed to run out. Then he realized that small details like that weren't important.

"That's not the worst thing he's ever done to me"

"Saiki, that's not ok!"

"Do your parents do anything about him?"

"No, I can deal with it myself. I always have, even when we were kids"

"Saiki that's still not ok. Why don't your parents get a restraining order or something if he's really that bad?"

"Have you met my parents Kuboyasu?"

Then they all began to think. His parents didn't seem like the type to do anything. They'd probably just consider it 'sibling bonding' and go about their days flirting with each other. They were good people but they weren't the best parents.

I mean look at Saiki now, he's quite literally a hitman.

Teruhashi decided that she would confess tomorrow night seeing as the information Saiki had just given them about his family life. It would seem insensitive to tell him now when everyone was still processing. She still wanted to seem like the perfect pretty girl after all. Confessing her love to him after hearing something heavy like that wouldn't be a good idea.

(Time skip)

Teruhashi worked up her courage to tell Saiki.

She told Chiyo first what she was doing and asking wether it was a good idea or not. Chiyo told her to go for it which she very much did. Teruhashi went up to Saiki grabbing him by the hand and dragging him a little ways from the group but still in earshot of them.

"S-Saiki-kun.."

"...."

"I-I l-like you"

Saiki seemed shocked but didn't react much. Toritsuka's jaw was hanging down by his feet, same with the other boy's. Most of them being jealous and Nendo being confused until Kaido explained what was happening. Mikoto noticed that Saiki was wearing his ring so he likely didn't expect the sudden confession. Teruhashi found herself staring at his bubblegum pink lips. Her eyes quickly darting up to look at his eyes before going back down to his lips.

"A-are you going to say anything back? You like me too, right?"

"No"

Teruhashi felt as if her heart was being ripped from her chest. She felt her eyes water at Saiki just stared at her.

"W-what.."

Saiki scoffed.

"you'd think it'd be obvious"

"I-"

"Dude, you are stepping way out of line!"

"I'm just stating facts"

Teruhashi was shocked by the response. He was supposed to love her. Why didn't he love her?!
