Takahashi was just hanging out with his small group of friends.

Then they caught a glimpse of a very familiar pink haired teenager. Takahashi realized that he'd never seen the pink haired boy outside school before. The only times they did were on school trips which technically didn't count as outside of school but they were outside campus. They never saw him behaving like a normal human and generally, they were all a little scared of him mostly because they felt as though something was off about him.

Like there was something incredibly wrong there.

They followed him at a distance so he didn't see them though they were still in earshot. They hid behind a building to watch as he was cornered by three guys much bigger then him. Takahashi was very interested in what was about to go down. He mostly just wanted to see if Saiki could fight.

"Careful, this is one of that punk Kuboyasu's lackeys"

"Look at him, he's harmless"

"Yeah, kids built like a twig"

"...You know..."

Saiki didn't look at them. The group of gangsters couldn't help but flinch at the sound of the boys voice. Neither could Takahashi and his friends. Saiki like he wasn't all there somehow. His voice soft, though it ricocheted around in their heads as if it were playing through a broken speaker. Like a broken children's toy, it was as if it were playing through static.

".. I take great offense to you calling me a mere lackey.."

"Really? What are you gonna do about that? Hm? I could snap your scrawny ass like a twig"

Takahashi felt his blood run cold when he heard it.

Saiki laughed. Like he was watching a comedian on television. Like he wasn't just threatened by someone almost twice his size. There was just something off about it that made him and his friends feel unsafe though they weren't even part of it. He finally looked up at the guys but Takahashi couldn't fully see his face.

Suddenly the main gangster standing directly in front of the boy felt something cold and sharp digging into his collarbone, suddenly slashing downward cutting through his shirt and his skin slightly. The guy fell to the ground shocked as his friends stood there doing nothing, mouths practically touching the ground. Now the boy had a large, though not very deep, cut near his collarbone. Saiki didn't want to kill, only scar so he just ever so lightly grazed the man's skin. The boy looked up at Saiki who's knife was pink handled, covered in cutesy little flower stickers. The way it gleamed in the sunlight mirrored the way Saiki's eyes shined behind his glasses.

"Takahashi, we really shouldn't be here"

His friends hisssed in his ears telling him to run but he couldn't. For some reason he just couldn't turn away from the scene in front of him. Though his friends could and ran away as fast as they could knowing telling anyone would lead to a fate they didn't want.

"..How about.."

Saiki wiped the blood from his knife with his thumb and index finger. Moving so quickly they almost couldn't see it, he knelt to the ground now gripping the boys face with his bloodied hand, likely leaving bruises on his jaw with how harshly he held onto the boys face. Saiki had a blank expression on his face now as he continued holding the knife to the boys throat. The other boy was absolutely terrified, you could see it in his eyes.

"..how about.. I gut you like a fish..."

The gangster looked at the much shorter boys eyes. He seemed entertained by the other males fear. There was something odd about Saiki, like he wasn't fully there. The boy could see that despite the pink haired boys green glasses blocking his eyes. The boy scrambled away from Saiki.
