(After the events of the first filler chapter)

Apparently word had gotten out about Saiki breaking Teruhashi's heart.

The Kokomin's were weak and stupid, that was a fact. Maybe he'd like her if she were a better person. Her 'redeeming' trait was her attractiveness which Saiki couldn't care less about. Rifuta wanted to hear his side of the story because everyone else just made him out to be a monster. However she knew that Saiki wasn't like that so she wanted to hear what he had to say.

"All I did was tell her I didn't like her back. Though I feel as if it's quite obvious"

"I mean, it kind of is but don't you think you were too blunt?"

"Coming from you?"

"Hey!"

Saiki chuckled.

Rifuta wasn't half bad when she wasn't pestering him to find her a boyfriend. She was like his little sister and he certainly felt a platonic love for the girl. Like how he felt with Mera, platonic love. It was something she knew very well and he knew it was reciprocated based on her thoughts. They were like the siblings he never had growing up.

Saiki had Kusuke but Kusuke hated him for existing so it felt nice to have someone be as close as siblings should be with him. Even if he didn't really know that's how siblings were supposed to be at first. Normally one would have a sort of love-hate relationship with their siblings, right? Of course they love them but they have petty fights, that was normal.

What was not normal was the fact that Kusuke wanted to murder him simply for existing.

At the moment Saiki wanted to throw himself off the roof. Which isn't as dramatic as it sounds since he'd more likely break the ground then himself.

"ARE YOU DATING RIFUTA?!"

"The cute freshman? He couldn't be!"

"No"

"He couldn't be... can he?!"

Saiki rolled his eyes and Rifuta laughed.

All they were doing was walking into school together. Now everyone was screaming about him 'ruining her' which he thought was entertaining. He whispered to her about how idiotic they were all being and they behaved much like feral dogs. This made Rifuta laugh even more and Saiki may have joined her in laughing at them, if they weren't in public.

"He's like my older brother. Why would I be dating someone who I consider my brother?"

That seemed to get them to lay off them for a while. Then again, the whole school was comprised of solely idiots. Saiki brainwashed them into forgetting about the whole thing because they were so incredibly annoying. Sometimes he really did not like people at all. That was something his friends understood very well, especially with the amount of times he ranted about the idiots they went to school with.
