yiren was pissed again, yangyang didn't wake her up and she only had time to take a shower and dress up, she wasn't even able to eat breakfast.

"i hate you" the girl squeezed through the door, yangyang was also squeezing through the door- and well, they got stuck.

"i'm sorry" he muttered and bowed his head as they finally got out.

"i just.. i-i thought" he stuttered.

"thought what?"

"i thought you were dead" he laughed,  flicking a finger on the girl's forehead and ran down the street looking like an idiot.

he literally acts like a fucking child.

"you fucking sheep!"

she then locked the door and walked  peacefully down the streets.

yiren heard her stomach growl.
"ugh, i'm starving" she muttered.

"want some?" a voice said from behind, and she knew well whose voice it was.

jung jaehyun stood beside the girl, offering her a small carton of strawberry milk, which was her favorite. yiren sighed, she really hoped to avoid the older boy, she was sort of ashamed and embarrassed, but accepted the milk anyway.

"thanks jung"

a few seconds of silence and she already couldn't handle it. yiren was the type of person who wants peace and quiet, but she sometimes couldn't handle situations like this.

"yoon?"

"oh, i've already brought him to kindergarten, he's always the first one to arrive out of all the kids there" jaehyun chuckled, a sound that the girl had never heard from him before.

and it became quiet again, it was killing her, and she was about to start another conversation but the older boy spoke first.

"well i cheated on someone once"

yiren stopped dead on her tracks. she turned to the taller boy and gave him a weird look.

"is that supposed to make me feel better?" she furrowed her eyebrows.

"i-wait.. did it?" jaehyun suddenly felt nervous, he really had no idea how to comfort or give an advice to someone.

"nope, nothing will ever make me feel better about what i've done" they continued walking.

maybe, just maybe jaehyun was considering making a move on the girl. but he knew that it was too soon, he'll give her time. the boy was also unsure about his feelings, but he's pretty sure he's never felt this way towards a person before.

a few minutes later and they already arrived at their school's gate, there was about 5 minutes till their first class starts, which they both share.

yiren felt weird, students were staring at her, she wasn't sure if it was a bad stare, but their eyes followed her as she walked through the hallway.

jaehyun obviously noticed it too, he wasn't sure what to say when he noticed the girl looking down as she opened her locker.

"woah sis- so um.. have you seen this?" a voice cane from behind. the girl knew that it was her stupid twin brother, she was still pressed about what happened that morning and was about to scold him when her eyes landed on the screen phone yangyang was showing her.

"what the-" she stopped on her sentence. it was a picture of her and lucas, lucas had
yoon-oh in his arms while smiling at the baby.

she felt jaehyun stiffen beside her.

"someone sent it around the whole school and everyone seems to think you guys had a child" hendery who was beside yangyang spoke.

"how could you hind something like this??" yangyang asked dramatically.

"you idiot. we literally live in the same house, you would've known if i was pregnant or something" she smacked his head, before he could complain, yiren grabbed jaehyun's wrist and pulled him away.

"what the fuck was that??" jaehyun ran a hand through his hair. they stopped at the end of an empty hallway.

"it's alright, you weren't seen in the picture" the girl held his arm unknowingly. yeah he wasn't seen, and his parents would kill him if people knew he had a child, it would be a really messy scandal which can cause harm to their family.

but something else was bothering him.
"i wasn't but you were! and everyone's gonna judge you because they think-"

"shhh.. it's alright jung, they can judge me all they want" she unknowingly(again) caressed the back of his hand to calm the boy down.

"but they think that you're with lucas!" he spat out, he couldn't help but feel jealousy, which was weird because he was never jealous before.

"what's wrong with that?"

"what do you mean what's wrong? you guys already broke up!" this time, yiren just shot him a weird look, why was he so worked up over this?

jaehyun finally realized that he was overacting and shit. he cleared his throat,
"so-uh, like, you don't even know if it's okay with lucas" he poked his tongue inside the side of his mouth.

"look, it's a simple misunderstanding, i'm sure that it'll get better and the rumors will die down soon"
