Tony's POV

"The fifth one was here in Poland, right near the Baltic. And the sixth one was... about here, 30, 40 miles west of the Maginot Line." I watch with a smile on my face as Steve marks up the map of known Hydra locations, a soldier taking away the map shortly after he was done, and I can't help but have this deep surge of happiness for him. It's like his whole life turned around; not just from him receiving the serum, but it's like he's proved that he's not a lab rat or a dancing monkey, and it's finally fucking time that someone besides me, Peggy and Dad see that. "I just got a quick look."

"Well, nobody's perfect," Peggy replies. I smile, knowing that's factually correct. I myself, am a prime example of that. To distract myself from my self-deprecating thoughts, I bite down on the side of my thumb and tune into the conversation again, barely hearing something about how weapon factories, and Hydra shipping them and putting together a team and going after Schmidt. Was it important? Absolutely important. Did I catch the gist of what they were talking about? Sort of, if you read in between the lines.

"You seem preoccupied," Peggy says, startling me. "I'll take that as a yes." She quietly laughs, and it's slightly humorous that I'm spaced out in the middle of an important meeting that I really should have paid attention to. "Are you coming to the bar?"

"What bar?" Her eyebrow shoots up at my response, and I wrack my brain as to what bar we were supposed to be going to. Oh. "Oh, yeah! I'm coming to the bar. But, I don't have anything to wear." I gesture down to my outfit. I mean, it wasn't bad I suppose? A grey open sweater over a black shirt, white jeans and grey sneakers, didn't seem inappropriate.

"Don't worry," she says, walking away from me. "I got that covered." I raise an eyebrow as she walks away, and I'm not exactly too sure if I'm supposed to be following her or not. And then it occurs to me that I'm in the room all by myself- minus the people who are actually outside of this room doing who knows what. Probably something to do with the war; and I'm almost certain it's not weapons since only Dad and I are capable of doing that, so it has to be strategics or, whatever else goes on in war. I'm not good at this...

A suit encased in plastic protection hits my face, startling me in the process as my brain scrambles to tell me to grab the object, which thankfully I was fast enough to do. "Put that on, I'm sure it'll fit you and you'll love it. I'm sure he will love it too." I freeze on the spot and make eye contact with Peggy, who I thought would have a disgusted look on her face, but it's still that same smile she always carries with her. I ease up a bit, not wanting to really talk about... Well, anything at the moment. I walked out of the strategics room and out into the hall, turning left where a bathroom stall was located.

Might as well change in here.

I open the stall and unravel the suit from it's protective plastic cocoon. I take off my jeans first, unbuckling my belt and stepping out of it, putting on the black pants first. My open sweater and my shirt are the next to go, being replaced by a white undershirt and black coat. Before I close the coat, however, I fumble around with my tie for a bit, folding one end in various directions while grumbling to myself on how stupid these things are half the time, before I finally finish the loop and pull down, drawing it close to the lower part of my neck. I grab all my clothes, putting them into the plastic coating and making my way out of the bathroom, leaving my coat unbuttoned.

When I enter the strategics room, Peggy is already there waiting for me, dressed in the most beautiful red dress that stopped just below her knees. It hugged her perfectly, bringing out her curves, as well as making her red lipstick pop even more as it matched with her elegant dress. She had a red purse in her left hand, and a necklace with a heart at the end around her neck. She was so stunning, absolutely jaw droppingly beautiful.
