Moments Later

Tyr POV

As I locked eyes with what could honestly be a carbon copy of me when I was younger, I instantly knew that this fool was Zeus. The predatory smile on my face must have angered him for he put up a blustery front and roared at me.

"Who are you to enter our Domain! Reveal your intentions or I shall SMITE YOU!!"

I snorted.

"Because that worked out the first time boy."

Artemis giggled behind me, apparently, she loved using that word, or maybe she liked the way I called her father that word. Either way, it gave me a chuckle before I turned my attention back to the tomato faced and so-called "Lord of the Skies". Oh boy was I gonna enjoy this.

But then a myriad of flashes announced the arrival of the rest of the Children of Rhea and Kronos. Hades saw me and gulped. He and I had happened to have a chat a little while ago when he accidentally claimed a warrior headed to Valhalla. Let's just say that I taught him to respect the word of our Valkyries. Seeing this, Zeus's mask of inexorable confidence slipped. If Hades, his powerful older brother, was afraid of me...what could I do to Zeus?

But what surprised them all the most was when their sister Hestia shifted into her childlike form and jumped into my arms.

"Uncle Tyr!!!"

I smiled and raised the brunette into the air.

"How's my favorite little ember doing?"

She smiled like a child and was about to start gushing about everything that happened since we last saw each other when we Asgardians repelled the Frost Giants from Midgard.

But of course the fool had to ruin the moment.

"Sister!! What is the meaning of this?! Who is this hostile God in the middle of our Center of Power?! And why, for the love of Styx are you in his arms?!"

By this point the trinity of Godlings had moved to my side rather than stand behind me. They were also surprised by the turn of events, but they seemed happy rather than angry like their father.

Seeing this, Zeus lost it and threw a lightning bolt at me, regardless of the fact that his sister was in my arms and his children were beside me. Instead of throwing out a barrier to keep the attack away, I decloaked my Godly Aura. A shockwave of power erupted from me, pushing everyone back, but for most it was a harmless burst of wind. For Zeus, it was an unbearable pressure that forced him to his knees.

I gently set Hestia down and walked over to Zeus slowly, the ominous air building as I strode over to him. Hades and Poseidon made to step forward to protect their brother, but the look I gave them...let's just say it had them rethinking their immortal life choices. A young Godling, almost Athena's age if I wasn't mistaken, was about to charge at me, but then...he felt our connection. His eyes were full of bloodlust and battle fury, but as soon as he felt the threads of power that connected him to me, he nodded his head, with the close cropped black hair shining in the glow of Olympus. This must be Ares. Just by the look in his eyes, I understood why Athena and her other siblings didn't like him. He was the unbridled side of Warfare, the ugly side. But even he had the common sense to back away from the one he draws power from.

So, I approached the current King of the Greek Gods, unfettered but his subjects. The whole of Olympus was so silent that you could hear an arrow drop. As I reached him, I towered over the arrogant fool. My blue eyes were ablaze with pure, unadulterated anger. I used the winds to lift his head to look at me. His electric blue eyes met my own and I stared into his immortal soul.
