Rose wasn’t asleep when Tracy came the next morning in the Practice Room. In fact, she hadn’t slept all night. There was too much new information to digest. Plus, she kept worrying about Jacob. That thought reminded her of her family. What had happened to them?

“Aren’t you asleep?” Tracy asked.

“I couldn’t sleep. I heard everything you told Collin. And Joan is right; my name is Rose, it has always been. I can make this right, but, please, I need your help!”

“You can always count on me and Collin.” Tracy smiled

Just then Collin came in. The annual fair had started. It was a fair given by the people of the kingdom. It was more of a carnival than of a fair. It started with a parade, and then it continued with some circus numbers and a feast. Besides this, there were many other activities. This fair was the biggest event of the year (after the twins’ birthday, which had just passed) and it took two whole days.

“Hey, guys, the fair’s started today! I almost forgot!” announced Collin. “O and I figured something out, but if we want to see the parade, we’ll have to leave the discussion for later.”

Tracy wanted to object; the discussion was too important, but Rose was curious to see the parade.

It was awesome! Rose hadn’t seen such parade in her own world. But that wasn’t all! They ate, they drank, they laughed and enjoyed themselves at the fair. But like every good thing, it wasn’t going to last for long.

Trudy watched the fun from her window. She had always hated that fair; too much… common folk. She was built for more noble parties. How could Tracy see it differently; she too was a princess. Trudy hadn’t always hated her sister. When they were younger, they used to play together with other children, noble or not, it didn’t matter then. Trudy had developed into the princess she should be, while Tracy still wanted to be herself. It seemed so childish. If Tracy hadn’t been the heir, Trudy wouldn’t have developed this hate. She considered Tracy didn’t deserve to be the heir, since she never acted like a princess.

But now when Trudy was watching all the fun going on without her, she thought that she could forgive her sister and be more like her… natural. Nobody can know for sure what Trudy would had done if William hadn’t walked in right then.

 “Hi, Trudy!” he said politely.

Trudy turned around, her heart beating fast. Even if Tracy was the one who was supposed to marry William, Trudy was the one who loved him. Both sisters had agreed that Trudy could have William. The problem was that Trudy didn’t have an official relationship with William, but they were good friends.

“Hi! I thought you’d left.” Trudy said.

“Yeah, but I came back. I saw Tracy was going to go to the fair.” William’s power was to see things from the future; but not important things.

As soon as he’d said that, Trudy had a feeling that something bad was going to happen. But she couldn’t possibly imagine what; maybe she was being paranoid.

“Now, don’t mention this to anyone, but I’m starting to like Tracy. All those mean things I said…they made me see what a nice person she is. I’ve come to apologize to her. I want her to marry me after all.” He confessed.

Trudy felt like she was stabbed in the heart. So William loved Tracyafter all!? Tracy didn’t even want him; she had someone else. Trudy was heartbroken. After everything she and William had went through…how could this happen? Why did her sister always get everything? It was so unfair!

“But…but…she already has a boyfriend!” Trudy tried to convince him to change his mind.

“Oh, Collin, I need not worry about him! He’s just a peasant. I’ll give him a lesson to mess with my fiancée!”
