I’ve waited for these discoveries to be made in order to finish the damn prologue. So this is it; the final part.
Dear Diary;
It seems that my high-school enemy has sent me to another city. If you ask me it’s much better here. Everything’s so colorful, so peaceful, so beautiful, better in every way. I began a new life here. Money has no value here, so everything is free! I ‘bought’ a new house, furniture, books, an easel for painting and lots of other useful things. The food is best quality; I eat something different every day.
When I first arrived, I couldn’t have fun because I still missed David and Jacob. But now I understood that cannot be helped. I made new friends and we go somewhere every day. My life is better than ever! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually grateful that I’ve been sent here.
But there’s still one thing I can’t understand. The day I arrived I asked for directions from a kind-looking old man. He told me that this was the world of nothing and that I could never get out.
‘How can this be the world of nothing?’ I asked’ It has everything you need and want!’
‘This place has no feelings and it makes you lose the feelings you do have. If you have no feelings it means you have nothing...”
Now it makes me wonder whether I’ve lost my feelings, because I don’t really care about my family so much…
