Previously:
Henry~ "Lucy...come home and I'll forget I just heard you talk back to me..and say all those things." He said with a serious calming manner.
Lucy~ Her eyebrows raised and her eyes widened in shock. She just stood there in silence and stopped clenching her bleeding fist.
Henry~ "Are you there? I swear to God if you hung up on me." He said, irritated..
Lucy~ "I'm still here."
Henry~ "Good, now come home."
Lucy~ "No."
Henry~ "What do you mean no!?"
Lucy~ "I'm moving out tomorrow."
Henry~ "You...What!?"
Lucy~ "I've had enough, I just can't live with my dad anymore. I need to grow up and get on with my life. I'm sorry but have a good night." She hung up on him and then collapsed to the ground onto her knees.
She just stared at the ground in despair and said nothing. Grant screamed out her name but she didn't respond to him. Alex helped her up to her feet and escorted her to the couch. He sat down next to her and had her lean up against his shoulder. She was in complete shock.
Back to Henry~ "SON OF BITCH!" He threw his phone at the wall, shattering it into tiny pieces and putting a dent in the wall, in the process.
*The next day: Lucy's Overview POV~ She wakes up due to the bright sunlight, it's Saturday. "Geez, it's so bright. Huh?" She smells breakfast cooking, but really it's leftovers from a recent kill. "Good morning, Lucy. If you are wondering where Grant is, he's out doing errands." She nodded her head and got off the couch, walked towards the kitchen table and sat down. "It's almost Christmas and I was wondering what you are doing for the holidays?" He said setting her plate of food in front of her with a slight smile on his face. "Oh, right. Well since I'm not on good terms with my dad. I guess I'll be celebrating it alone." He shook his head. "That just won't do. Grant and I can celebrate it with you. If you want?" She looked at him surprised. "Oh really? Are you sure you want to? Shouldn't you ask Grant first?" He shook his head,"Trust me, he would be saying the same thing if he was here." She smiled happily at him. She took a bite of the cheese eggs and sausage. Her eyes rolled back as the flavors exploded in her mouth. She licked her lips satisfied afterward. She got up from sitting down and got ready to go out. Alexander put the dishes in the dishwasher and then got ready himself too.
A few minutes passed~ She was waiting for him outside of his house. He locked his door and they got in his truck. The car ride to her house was definitely awkward, that's for sure.
As they arrived Henry was standing in the doorway with a nasty scowl and irritated look on his face. She walked towards her father and said,"Please let me get my things." He scoffed irritated at her words. "Who's this, huh?" Lucy glared at him annoyed with his attitude. "He's a friend. Now, will you please move?" He took a step back and let her inside but stopped Alex from coming inside. "Tell me your name... friend of my daughter." Alex played it cool and smiled at him. "I'm Alex, nice to meet you finally." Then suddenly both of them heard. "Hey, Alex can you come and help me with my furniture!?" Alex pushed through Henry and went to go help Lucy out with her things. Henry stood in the kitchen drinking heavy booze and watching his daughter finally move out of the house. His grip on her is loosening, he can't control her anymore without making it obvious. He's slowly starting to fall apart, the thought of his enemy winning this war between them is eating him up inside.
