Autumn
June 24th 1995
Today was the final day of the competition. My nerves had gone down a bit but I was still anxious.
Ced always gave me a pep talk before letting me know that it was all going to be okay.
As Ced Went into the tent with Harry and all the others I sat with Mariah and Blaise. Leo was feeling a bit sick so he stayed behind.
"You ready?" Asked Mariah kissing my cheek
"No." I said waiting for Cedric to come out.
"He'll be alright darling." Said Blaise patting my knee. I nodded.
The event had started and there they ran into the Maze. I bit my nails and my stomach churned as Ced took longer and longer to come out the Maze
Eventually I started to freak out "Mariah where is he.." "he's okay.." suddenly a flash appeared and there he laid.
On the floor
Not moving
Harry was crying and Cedric laid there not moving
I ran as fast as I could down the bleachers
"CEDRIC NO NO NO PLEASE BABY NO PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK TO ME" I cried.
I screamed in pain as I held onto his hand "SOMEONE HELP HIM!!!" I screamed as everyone was gasping in shock as it hit them.
Cedrics father ran down the bleachers "THAT'S MY SON..THAT'S MY BOY.."
I screamed in pain and agony. Mariah grabbed me as I kicked away in frustration.
"LET ME GO!!" I screamed "CEDRIC" "cmon darling it's okay" said Blaise practically trying to pry me off of Cedric.
"DONT TOUCH ME!" My voice cracked as I screamed.
I laid there with Cedric
Crying
As everyone watched.
"Baby he's gone..." said Mariah as we walked to the hospital wing where they had Cedric
"Don't say that..he's not."
"Baby.." Mariah said
"HES STRONGER THAN THAT." I yelped
"Okay okay.." Mariah said holding my hand
We walked in as i went to the front desk
"Cedric Diggory."
Room 6
"That's his quidditch number" I yelped to Mariah
I walked to the room wiping my tears as I walked in.
"Ced..?"
"Darling...he didn't make it.." said one of the nurses.
I broke down to the floor. Crying. In pain. The rest of the night was a blur.
