Nuclear bomb.

Jiwoo felt as if one had gone off in her brain as she walked down the halls of school, heading for her third class of the day.

Who knew those around her had so many thoughts? It was almost overbearing how much information she was receiving on drama, news and even just simple knowledge about everyday students. Jiwoo listened to them all.

It was almost like heaven and hell at the exact same time. But she began to reminisce on the past, if she was able to tune out voices before, who's to say she couldn't do it now?

All she had to do was focus.

And then, she did.

"That's better" Jiwoo sighed in relief of finally being able to hear her own thoughts for once today. It was all so new to her and with her new abilities, she wondered if she were almost a superhero...

Super Jiwoo? No-

Captain Jiwoo?...No

The Mind Reader?....That didn't sound too bad. Maybe her name focusing on her power was just the perfect way to make her name sound heroic and cheesy. Just like every superhero. Oh, what a genius Jiwoo was.

Well sorta....

"Jiwoo, looks like we actually have an assignment done?? Have you gotten a fever?" Ms. Bae questioned, placing her hand onto Jiwoo's forehead once she had seen the student with her science project done.

"No, i'm fine. Just let me get this over with" Jiwoo forced a smile, bringing her plaster molds of Yerims hand to the front of the classroom to be assessed and marked.

-Science class had always been a snooze fest to Jiwoo. Micro this- and Species that- it was merely just background knowledge that wouldn't help her in any significant way. School was merely a joke.

But even though Jiwoo was about to take her daily nap, the sounds of voices around her filled her ears once again, keeping her away from her slumber.

"How much more of this?"

"I swear Ms. Bae gets more beautiful every day"

"I wonder how much trouble I could get in if I burn this place down?"

Gosh, this class was a mess.

Jiwoo tried her best to tune the voices out but they were just too much, it hurt to tune things out. She just had to focus. Let go. Think of happy thought-

"Jiwoo! Good to see you aren't sleeping through class today, would you care to answer our question on the board?" Ms. Bae caught Jiwoo.

"Shit, she's in trouble"

"Wait- she's in this class?"

"I mean matches are pretty cheap, maybe fireworks are the better option to burn this place"

Thoughts, those thoughts again. Surly Jiwoo was in deep shit with this one as the question on the board was nothing but gibberish, covered in a english coat.

What Gas Is Needed For Photosynthesis?

If only her classmates were actually useful instead of imbeciles put together in a science class. But thankfully- there was one girl who had the answer.
