"Jiwoo, is this really necessary?"
"Yes Yerim, art takes time! Now, stay still...it shouldn't take much longer"
Ah yes, sister bonding time. A time where those of related blood spend their precious hours with one another.
Well...at least that's what Yerim thought her and Jiwoo were going to do.
"Why couldn't Jinsoul help you with your science project? I don't think that having both my hands in plaster is something I would have soberly agreed to"
Yerim states, moving her hands around in the white and gooey substance. Truly not the way she expected to spend her Sunday night.
"Don't care, if I don't get this project done by tomorrow my grade is basically down the drain" Jiwoo frantics.
It was no doubt that Jiwoo was infamous for doing things last minute. It was her specialty actually. But when it came to her science grade, she couldn't afford to have a missing project once more.
"Well if this stuff doesn't set in the next 30 minutes, your grade isn't the only thing going down the drain" Yerim grew impatient.
"Well you did agree to do this for me so...-"
"I was high out of my mind, Jiwoo! Who knew what else I agreed to that night."
Yeah, Yerim wasn't exactly the most innocent sibling in the family. But when you were the youngest, your freedom soared through the roof.
"Whatever, I'm getting that A+ whether you like it or not." Jiwoo hums, filling the buckets that Yerim had her hands in with more plaster. Surely this was going to take a while but Yerim didn't need to know that.
"Fine. You're lucky you're cute-" Yerim was interrupted by the small buzz coming from Jiwoo's phone, the sight of her bright anime wallpaper catching the attention of both girls.
"Hmm, speaking of cute. It's Sooyoung, she wants to know where you are" Yerim says, taking a peek at her sister's phone. But Jiwoo was a bit confused.
"Huh? Why would she be asking that?....oh no-" Jiwoo quickly grabbed her phone from the kitchen table and quickly dialed Sooyoung's number. She couldn't believe she had forgotten.
A ring quickly began to humm from the phone near Jiwoo's ears as she quickly grew impatient "Please pick up...", she whispered.
But thankfully, there was an answer.
"Sooyoung? Sooyoung!?"
"O-Oh, hey Jiwoo. Are you almost here? It's been an hour..." Sooyoung, one of Jiwoo's tutoring students chimed.
Today was their regularly scheduled studying lessons for the week and let's just say Jiwoo may have forgotten her plans with her student after getting carried away in a certain...science project.
"I-I'm sorry Sooyoung, I think I may have forgotten trying to get my science done....are you mad?" Jiwoo shakily questioned.
"No! Not at all, i'll be fine..." Sooyoung had lied.
"But when is your Math test??"
"Tomorrow morning...b-but it's ok, I'll be fine." Sooyoung lied once again.
Jiwoo led her hand up and took a sharp slap to her forehead. What a dunce she truly was.
"I'm so sorry Sooyoung-"
"Jiwoo! You really need to stop apologizing. Seeing you constantly is a privilege in my mind, maybe I just needed to be humbled a bit" Sooyoung softly states.
