Tɪʟʟɪᴇ
I hadn't moved from my sitting up position, and kept hearing my poor sister screaming.
"Tillie?"
I hummed and felt Ezra move.
"Lay down sweetheart, you're going to get stiff."
"I'm okay."
Zelie screamed again and I sighed.
"Hey, it's okay. Please just lay down for awhile, please."
I nodded and laid on my side, only to feel him put his arm around my waist. Zelie screamed again and I jumped, that one didn't sound good.
"Damn she's noisy."
I nodded and Jayce began yelling.
"I'm going to make sure she's not hurting herself. Just and rest love."
He said walking out of the bedroom, and I heard him scream too.
"Jayce, why is she doing that?"
"To make me untie her."
I heard footsteps come to the bedroom and Ezra untied me.
"Go untie your sister and hold her down until she calms."
He said quickly and I walked to the room, sitting on her waist. Untying her good arm, and Jayce untied her legs.
"Zelie stop before they drug the shit outa you, you need to relax."
She sobbed and I felt my heart break as I had to hold her down so she didn't harm herself.
"Zel, breathe it's okay. I'm here."
I got off her and sat her up, hugging her and not letting her go. Feeling tears run down my cheeks at her pain.
"Sweetheart..."
"It's okay."
I whispered and felt her tremble in my arms, my rock was breaking into a pebble from fear. Jayce rubbed her back and she began calming, falling asleep from exhaustion. She passed out and I held her, wanting my fearless sister back.
"Tillie, I'll..."
"No, she's asleep. She's not fighting. You did this to her, you broke her. Now leave her alone."
I sneered and watched Jayce walk out of the room, Ezra followed shutting the door. I felt myself grow angrier that these men took my fearless sister away. The one who always pushed me to be bold, now she was meek and hurt.
Jayce entered as daylight broke the sky, filling the room with natural light.
"Tillie, I need t..."
"Go away, she's relaxed. You're not going to touch her, or I will not help you calm her again."
Jayce grabbed my throat and I just closed my eyes.
"Hurt me all you want, but you're not waking her up."
I struggled out and he pulled away, pacing the room. Zelie woke up slowly, sitting up and looking around.
"Hi sis."
"Hi baby sis."
She whispered hugging me tightly, there she is. All the sudden she was taken from me. I stood and went to grab her back, but Ezra blocked me.
"Get out of the..."
"She's being punished for running, so go sit."
"No fuck that, you taking us is punishment enough. Get out of the way."
I shoved him, well tried. I was grabbed and pinned to the door, feeling his rage expel off him. He put my arms above my head with one hand and his other on my throat tightly.
"You will never, ever shove me again."
He seethed and tightened his grip on my neck. I whined at the loss of oxygen. Struggling against him. He finally dropped me, and I fell to the ground wheezing for air. Coughing and trying to get my lungs filled up. Ezra only stood over me watching, then picked me up. Laying me in his bed. I sat up still trying to breathe and not choke.
"You're going to lay here and rest. I don't care if it bores you, but you're going too."
He waited for me to breathe normally, then grabbed me. Forcing me to be the little spoon facing the wall. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't comfortable.
"Ezra."
"What."
"I haven't heard Zelie scream or heard her at all."
"She's fine Tillie, just probably gagged."
I nodded and shifted slightly, being forced to lay on his brand.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm laying on the brand."
He turned me, pulling me to his chest. Putting my arm over his waist.
"Sleep."
He whispered and then I heard Zelie scream, forcing me to grab his shirt.
"It's okay."
He mumbled and I closed my ears, trying to distract myself from her agony. I finally relaxed, and felt myself fall asleep.
*****
I woke up feeling Ezra jolt up, making me become alert.
"What?"
I whispered and he rubbed his face.
"Jayce began screaming again, worried me."
I nodded and he started undressing, I covered my face. Keeping myself from wanting to know what he was doing.
"Tillie I have clothes on the dresser for you, put them on and come to the kitchen."
He stated closing the door, I obliged finally having clothes that weren't his big ass shirts. I walked out, and saw Zelie hanging by her good wrist. I ran to her, making sure she was alive.
"Zelie, sis. Are you okay?"
"Tillie, can I have water?"
She mumbled and I grabbed the glass on the table. Tipping it up for her, and watched her moan at the moisture.
"What hurts?"
"My belly."
I lifted her big shirt, must be Jayce's. I gasped and stumbled backwards into the tv stand.
"What? What's wrong with it Til?"
"Jayce."
I ran out the room and called for him. He looked at me and was confused.
"Her stomach.... Jayce..."
"It's just like your back, she's fine."
I fell to the ground and felt tears sting my eyes.
"Sweetheart, she's okay. Just like you are."
I stood and walked back to her, seeing the freight in her eyes. I hugged her and she was trembling, hugging me with her casted arm.
"Jayce can you take me down?"
She whispered and I watched him undo her wrist. Allowing her to steady herself on me.
"I need to wrap your stomach, come on."
She followed and I stood in shock, what the hell is this and why're we still here?
