I woke up feeling myself being moved. When I heard chains I tried to fight, but felt so weak.
"Shhhhh."
A masculine voice whispered and walked away.
"Zelie? Zelie? Sis, where's Zelie?"
I whimpered out as I began to gain more strength. I looked over seeing to very tan men in the corner, then I saw Zelie in a chair tied up. I pulled and sat up.
"Zelie?!"
I fought the chain and felt my wrists begin to ache, it didn't stop me though. Until a hand wrapped around my bicep, stopping my thrashing movement. The blue eyes.
"Shhhh."
"No fuck you."
I said before spitting on his face. His eyes darkened as he wiped his face. Before I could flinch he had his hand on my neck pushing me against the wall. He wasn't choking me but he was definitely making me uncomfortable.
"If she wakes, your going to wish I knocked your difficult ass out."
He dropped his hand and walked away, leaving me in the corner.
"What're you going to do to her?"
"Shhhh."
The man spat and I saw the hot coals in front of them with a metal rod in it. I fought again, having a feeling I knew where this was going. I stood, pulling on the chain. The blue eyed man stepped behind me and grabbed my throat. Forcing my body to his.
"Stop making so much noise, if she wakes before we do this you're going to be afraid."
"I'm already afraid."
I sassed, feeling his other hand wrap around my waist.
"Good, so sit still and wait. If I come back over here because you're not listening you'll wish you never were born."
He let go and I sat myself in the corner staring at my sister.
"D-does she have a concussion?"
I whispered and the man with the long hair shook his head. I nodded to myself and saw the stick come out. It was something you branded cows with.
"What're you doing that for?"
I said quickly, afraid.
"For you to remember who you belong too."
The long haired man said nonchalantly.
"No no please."
I whispered as he walked towards Zelie. I moved as close to her as I could until the chain on my wrists stopped me.
"Don't watch."
The blue eyed man whispered and crouched in front of me.
"No no she's gonna wake up in pain, no."
I whispered to myself and stood up, seeing him lift her shirt.
"It's gonna hurt her, please don't."
The blue eyed man stood, towering over me. I looked up at him and he pulled me to his chest shushing me. I heard the sizzle before Zelie's scream, I felt myself break down. Going limp as my sister was helpless. She screamed as the man stopped and then saw me.
"Tillie baby, Tils are you okay? Tillie?!"
She screamed and I felt the blue eyed man leave. I looked at my sister, pain was painted on her face. She was still more worried about me.
"Tillie fight sis, fight. Run please."
I went to stand but collapsed, feeling my body rack in a sob.
"It's okay Tillie, I'm okay. Please fight."
The blue eyes man picked me up and I felt my hands get strung up. I fought and watched him untuck my shirt. I kicked and pleaded only to watch him tuck my shirt under my bra. Zelie had broke her chair and went to stand. Only to be wrestled to the floor.
"If you move I'll have to do it again Tillie."
The blue eye man stated and I sobbed.
"Shhhh it's quick baby."
He whispered and kissed my cheek.
"Tillie no! Tillie!"
Zelie was screaming in anger and the blue eyed man came back.
"Please don't, please."
I tried to move and he grabbed my waist with his free hand. Then pressed the metal into my rib. I screamed in pain, still feeling the burn after he left. I sobbed and felt myself get light headed.
"She's gonna pass out, stop!"
Zelie screamed, then the blue eyed man took me down from the hook.
"Shhhh it's okay you did it."
He held me to his chest as I felt myself go numb.
"Ready to go home brother?"
"Let's go."
I was picked up and felt myself get nauseous. He set me down and I threw up in the grass.
"Oh baby, it's okay. It'll be okay, it'll go away."
I was picked back up and the four wheelers started, I was on one.
They stopped after awhile and I heard Zelie screaming.
"Let me talk to her."
I whispered and watched the man nod. I stood and walked to her.
"Zelie, we'll get out. Just relax so you don't get knocked out again."
I whispered and felt my brain get fuzzy. The guy who branded me caught me, walking into a house.
"Aye they got their girls!"
"Ezra what's wrong with her?"
"She's exhausted and I'm pain. She's okay."
Ezra, good to know. I was set in a bed and opened my eyes.
"Rest baby girl, no more pain will come."
As he said that my body relaxed out of pure exhaustion and pain.
