Your POV
I was in the green house reading when Neville walked in he said to me "Hi Y/N. What are you reading" I answer "Just a herbolgy book, you would probably think it was lame." He say "Actually I like herbolgy. What plant are you reading about" I say "I'm reading about the mandrake root" He say "You know in my second year I passed out from hearing the baby mandrake scream" I say "Really." He says "Yeah, but just come down he every day to take care of the plants, do you, umm maybe want to help" you answer "Sure Neville I would love to."
We toke care of the plants and we laughed together and talked we were best friends at that point. Then Professor Sprout walked in and she said "Thank you Neville for taking care of the plants." Then Neville said "You can't give me all the credit professor Y/N helped me." She said "Oh well thank you both for taking care of the plants" At the same time we both say "You're welcome" We look at each other and start laughing together. Professor Sprout left.
Neville's POV
She's so pretty. Wait what am I thinking this was my friend how could I think that. Y/N said "let's go find everyone" We left the green house and went to the gryffindor common room and we saw Luna was waiting for someone to let her in so me Luna and Y/N went into the gryffindor common room. Where we found everyone else. They all said hi and were just talking to each other.
I said to Y/N "You know, I have a lot of herbolgy books, do you uhh maybe want some." She said "Sure, I would love some books." We went up to the boys dormitory. I grabbed some of my favorite book. I gave 3 of them to her and I kept 3 and we started reading. About half an hour later she asked "what's gillyweed" I answer "It's a plant that helps you breathe underwater" she said "Oh, cool" Then I say "Umm do you maybe want to umm go to umm Hogs Meade with me." She smiles and says "I would be delighted to go to Hogs Meade with you, Neville." I started blushing.
