Chapter 14

Neville's POV
It was the day after the tournament was over. I was walking down the hallway by myself. When Y/N came up behind me. She jumped on my back and giggled in my ear. I almost screamed loudly but kept the scream to a small yelp. "Hi Neville." She said still on my back. "Hi Y/N. You seem very happy today." I said. She kissed my cheek and said "I am happy today cause I get to see you." I blushed. I was holding her on my back. "Do you want to go down to the greenhouse?" She asked me. I nodded. "Am I carrying you or do I have a choice?" I asked her laughing. "You don't have a choice you are giving me a piggy back ride." She answered giggling.

I carried her to the greenhouse we were laughing and making jokes all the way there. We made it to the greenhouse. She was so cute her smile is beautiful.

"Hey Neville,  do you still love me after what happened at the third task?" She asked sadly. "I love you for being you not because of what happened at the task." I answered her. "I love you, Neville." She said as if she was thankful that I was just there. "I love you to, Y/N." I said to her. We were watering the plants as were having the conversation. She was smiling so big. "Hey Nev can I have a hug?" She asked me. I looked at her confused. "Did you just call me Nev?" I asked her. "Maybe, if you don't like it I won't call you it if you don't want me-" I interrupted her, "I like the name, and yes you can have a hug." She smiled and jumped into my arms. We just looked at each other's eyes and I kissed her. We stood there holding each other while kissing.

Then we heard the door open and we stopped kissing. "Awwww look it's the near squib and the freak." A rude voice I recognized to be Draco Malfoy. "What do you want Malfoy." She asked slightly angered. "I want to know what you did to me before 3 days before the first task." He answered. "Me and Cedric used the confundus charm on you." She answered scowling at Malfoy. "What happened while I was under the confundus charm?" He asked smirking. "W-why do y-you need to know, Malfoy?" I said stuttering. "I don't want to talk about it." She mumbled loud enough for us to hear. "Fine then, I'll just go ask Diggory." He walked away from the greenhouse.

"Nev I have something to tell you." She said. I looked at her and gave her a look that said go ahead. "So when Malfoy was under the confundus charm he umm s-sorta k-kissed me." She said sadly. I looked at her with sad eyes. "W-what?" I asked even though I heard exactly what she had said. "H-he kissed me. But I didn't kiss him back and I pushed him off of me after and-" she was rambling on until she looked at me and I was silently crying. Then she moved her hand up to wipe the tear off of my face. "That's why I was having a panic attack that day. I was scared Nev." I just hugged her. It took her a second to react but she hugged me back. "I was h-having a panic attack because I care about you Neville." She said. "I know." I kissed her head and I could felt her smile into my chest. We finished watering the plants and we left holding hands. I really did love that girl.

One week later

Your POV
I walked into the hufflepuff common room. "Hi Y/N" I heard a voice come from the couch, it was Cedric. "Hi Cedric." I kept walking but he stopped me. "So what happened during the last task?" Cedric asked me. "Well you died and then somehow my tears brought you back to life, I guess." I explained. I'm honestly still confused on how that happened. "When did you get powers like that?" He asked me with a curious face. "I honestly don't know."
