Chapter 9

Your POV
It was the day of the first task. I went down to the campion's tent to say good luck to Cedric and harry. I walked down to the tent. I whispered into the tent "Do you know what type of dragon you are battling." Cedric whispered back "No, but I hope it's not to dangerous." I moved the curtain out of the way really fast and hugged Cedric. Rita Skeeter saw us and took a picture of us hugging. I shrugged it off and left.

The next day it was in the daily profit. I saw Neville's face he wasn't mad he was more sad. Everyone knew me and Neville were dating so everyone was whispering. The Daily Profit said that I was cheating on Neville with Cedric, which was not true, I mean I love Cedric but as a friend.

I walked over to Neville everyone was looking at me. I said to Neville "Can I talk to you, in private?" He shrugged and followed me.

I brought him out of the great hall. "Did you see the Daily Profit?" He nodded. He looked like he was going to cry. "Do you like Cedric?" He asked sadly. "No, I think of Cedric of as a brother not a boyfriend." I answer. He just hugged me It was a surprise but I just hugged him back and kissed him on the cheek at this point he was crying silently. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Please don't cry Neville, it makes me sad." I said while wiping away his tears. We walked back into the great hall.

Cedric's POV
Y/N walked into the great hall and waved bye to Neville and walked over to me and Susan. Everyone was still whispering about me and Y/N. Then she came over to us and sat next to Susan. She said "I fixed everything with me and Neville, but, Cedric, you might want to talk to Cho. She does not seem to happy." I went to talk to Cho.

3 days later

Your POV
It was the day of the Yule Ball I was so excited. I was in the gryffindor girls dormitory we were getting ready for the Yule Ball with Luna, Ginny, and Hermione. Ginny was doing My makeup and Hermione was doing my hair. They finally finished my hair and makeup I went into the bathroom to get my dress on when I came out their mouths dropped open Luna said "You look beautiful, Y/N." I said "Thank you Luna." I helped everyone else get ready and we walked to the great hall.

We all walked down the stairs one by one I was last. I walked down the stairs and Neville turned bright red. "Hi Neville." I said nervously. Somehow he was more nervous then I was. "H-Hi Y-Y/N, y-you l-look very p-pretty." He said extremely nervous. I kissed him and then we walked inside. We watched the 4 champions walk in with their dates. Everyone looked great. The champions started dancing 2 minutes later me and Neville joined the 4 champions. Everyone was dancing having fun.

I danced with Neville until the ball was over. I was surprised Neville wasn't that bad I dancing. I saw Cedric and Cho kissing I was so happy for them. Me and Neville stood in the hallway just looking at each other. He kissed me we just stood there kissing he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer, I put my arms around his neck and we stopped, I never wanted that kiss to end. That was when I knew I loved him like a lot.
